Gayming notebooks are gimped. You can't have a strong machine that doesn't heat up a lot, uses a ton of eletricity, and isn't heavy or bulky.
No matter how much you spend, you'll get fucked somewhere. Thousands of dollars will get you one with shit battery life, or heavy weight, which will greatly impair portability, which is the point of the thing in the first place

If you absolutely have to get a performance laptop(you don't), don't fucking go with the ultra-thin meme.

The problem here is anything under 900 will be plastic, if people avoid "gaming."

1080s are barely mid tier mine struggled with 1080p 60hz in some games
That CPU will also struggle as low clocked quad cores are really starting to show their age.
That was a decent laptop 2-3 years ago but will age very poorly.
My advice would be to just get a desktop pc and a cheap freesync monitor.
If it absolutely has to be a laptop it's a terrible time to buy one Intel and nvidia have that market cornered and amd didn't really get a foothold with Zen or their gpus in it
