Play through all the Final Fantasy games. Play 1, 2, 4, 5, and 6 on a GBA emulator.

I recommend you skip 3, it's actually garbage.

7, 8, 9, and X are all available as PC ports, and while I've never had problems with them, people still recommend emulating those as well.

Skip 11 and 14, MMOs suck. Skip 13 and its sequels, they will ironically make you more bored than you are now.

15 is lame but it's still fun to play and see how far Final Fantasy has fallen lol
