Its mainly walking and listening, but sometimes the perspective switches to someone else and the gameplay changes to match. Nothing groundbreaking but I found the story fun and the way it told it nice.

Might sound like a meme, but for a lot of people people (me included) the game's very emotional story and the connection you form with the characters makes you almost rediscover the value of life.

You'd think a game about high school drama would be boring before you play it. But with life is strange you don't get the "boring high school drama vibe" at all, it perfectly manages to create a very powerful nostalgic vibe where you remissness about teenager stuff. It gets the atmosphere perfectly right with the music and themes like suicide, bullying, loss of friendship, growing up, etc. Constantly hearing Max's internal dialogue as she reflects on everything going on also makes her really grow on you as a character. At times you end up almost knowing everything she will say, and often feel the exact same way. As Max develops and becomes stronger you feel proud of her, because over the course of the game she has grown so close to you.

He can't read minds, but he has telekinesis and psychic blasts. There are lots of scenes where he tries to use he's powers to do stuff and protect people, but I've been trying to make him not be super reliant on using his powers because the kid is a ticking time bomb, so I don't know all the cool things he can do but doing so make him resentful towards you for not embracing the powers. I big part of the game is really exploration because reading through the stats and the end of an episodes you see a lot of different outcomes.
I'd say that 2 is a lot better than one because the gimmick is use a lot more than just fixing your mistakes, Sean is nowhere near as much of a tool that Max is, and when you get the little brother to stop acting like a cunt, the scenes are great, but my biggest issue with the game is that every episode is a timeskip, so lets say at the end of episode 2, I had the brothers being close, by the start of episode 3, Sean became a cunt to his little brother, so now I gotta fix it all over again.

There were several potential outcomes he saved me from getting caufht bybthe cops in my playthrough and didnt get hit by the car
