Should I? is the port any good? I've been using the Java one for Blood and it's fine but it has some issues like unsmooth mouse movement sometimes.

fuuuuck, it looked promising, maybe they'll fix some of those

wat

...

ah thanks

It's a rushed cashgrab garbage. Stick to the BloodGDX/NBlood and you'll be gucci.

BloodGDX is great but that mouse movement issue kills a lot of my enjoyment, I see there was a 24.04.2019 release, haven't tried that, will try it and hope they fixed it

Regarding the mouse movement I read somewhere that the Y axis speed should be halved in comparison of X for a better experience, but idk if that really makes a difference. I dealt with it a lot and then I just found my personal favorite settings, you should do that too but in the end it's still better than playing BloodKEX aka BloodCM2 imho.

thanks I'll try that now, just wish there was a raw input option lol

I think so too, but now BGDX is open source so we can either wait for some nerd to improve it or just ask to that Russian if he's willing to fix this thing. At least it's miles better than bMouse and I'm grateful just for that lol.

If I never played Blood, and I honestly don't give a flying fuck about /vr/'s autistic shit, is it enjoyable?
I liked Duke3D back in the days, but I never played this.

it is dude, this game is amazing and holds up so well, more fun than duke imo

It is, but don't buy this shit because it's nowhere as near as the original game regarding pretty much every aspect. Even the fucking AI, one of the most important things, is fucked up. Oh and the weapons too, some of those don't feel satisfying like they're used to. You'll be better by playing One Unit Whole Blood via a sourceport like BloodGDX, it's as easy as drag and dropping some files into the game folder and you're done. Regarding the game itself, just don't play it like a normal FPS. Crouch a lot to avoid bullets (enemies will do that too, beware), use your weapons and especially the alt-fire wisely and throw dynamites like a trigger happy nigger.

is Project Warlock fun?

hell yeah, its also great, the artstyle can be a bit offputting perhaps, enjoyed it, not as much as blood though

As someone who never played the original version, those comparisons to the original have literally no meaning to me and sounds little more than autistic ramblings. I checked some gameplay videos, I can spot no meaningful difference, except that there are floating blood effects all over that looks really lame. If they would fix that I wouldn't care about the other stuff.

the lack of gibs and such is a shame since i'd expect more gibs not less, but yeah the floating sprites is def the only glaring issue

There's a lot more to it, just read carefully all of these posts if you feel like playing an easier game botched down because of laughable development, go on. Enjoy your bugs, glitches, poor customization and inaccuracies. It's not autistic ramblings, it's about the overall experience you'll gain from it, and it'll be seemingly not that much of a deal at first, then one day who knows, you'll try one of those fanports and you'll realize how much you missed out.

Cash grab, there are little to no improvements for fans that have downloaded and played this in the last 5 years. Multiplayer will be a popular as Duke3d is now. Its just a fad that the internet will kick around for a week or two and forget. Dont be an idiot.

yikes, these graphics suck. is this what you boomers actually like?

>steam
Buy it on GOG.

(you)

He has a coupon on Steam.

multiplayer isn't crossplay between steam and gog unfortunately so most people will buy it off steam
also he has a coupon for owning the other blood release

I trade my Blood coupon for something. Fuck this bugged and inaccurate shit, I already have BGDX anyway.

Im having a blast though i've never played blood before. sucks to be an autist.

>he fell for kaiser's inaccurate and buggy bait
Yep, I sure love my BloodGDX, literally paid less to have more. Have fun with that thing user, does it even run Death Wish? lol

Ok, they'll solve 1 of 666 issues, i'm happy for you lil boi.

I had a really good time with it. It gets comically absurd toward the end.

I did. €4 was a small enough amount for me to see what it's all about.
I felt the movement was off and saw some of the mid-air blood, weirder graphics and sound bites but it's legit impossible for me to remember what OG Blood was like in the 90's so for me it was just "Wait, was it really like this?" because 55 years of playing wonky ports and whatnot. Glad to see people are calling out the inaccuracies, doesn't seem like anything that would be too hard to fix.

Maybe they should have waited until the July release and spent 2 more months polishing it?

>steam
>DRM shit
pirate it you stupid faggot

How the fuck did Kaiser go from making a fantastic Doom 64 port to this?

Attached: huh.gif (805x540, 100K)

Go figure. Time changes for any software house and individual developer. On Kaiser's case, he became an utter faggot.

Get it on gog u stupid retard

Maybe instead of putting in dumb achievements referencing YouTube ecelebs they should have been ironing out these issues. Oh but I forgot, they have to appease the braindead zoomer faggots who get their opinions from their eceleb overlords and will buy the port, play it for 10 minutes, and go back to jerking off to watching other people play the game for them like the mindless zombies they are.

I wish this was an exaggeration. It isn't.

>Buy it at full price instead of using the coupon
How do people THIS fucking stupid manage to live day to day life? Every day must be a life threatening challenge.

>tfw have the original on gog and got the 50% off discount on the store page for the remake
