Literally nobody asked for this. The only reason I assume this exists is because sony was trying to cash in on PS1 nostalgia, but they ran dry after Crash and Spyro, so now this bottom of the barrel trash gets remade.

I never got to play the second game so I would've liked it if it had both games. Although there is literally no reason not to remake it after the success of the crash/spyro, even if it's not up to the same calibur

HD Remakes show most devs and publishers are creatively bankrupt and can't create anything new or risky. Honestly the last game I played that surprised me was Baba is You. People want new games, not the same one they've been playing the past 20 years.

I've been wanting a 3rd Medievil game for the last two decades, almost. I remember designing levels for a "medievil 3" platformer that looked a lot like earthworm jim, set in a futurama style future.
Then I came up with the idea of an actual sequel where dan travels back through the time machine with kiya at the end of medievil 2, and ends up in a parellel universe where zarok won and gallowmere is populated by the undead. That would have been neat.

Anyway, since we're having medievil threads again, the best levels in the series are

>Wolfrum Hall
>Whitechapel
>Freakshow

I remember liking Medievil back in the day. I might pick this up for another go, depending on what's released around it. If I don't pick it up release month, I'll probably only get it later on a bargain bin.
