What is the best grand strategy game and why is it not the new Imperator: Rome?
Grand Strategy
For me, it's EUIII
based, mana system in euiv is shit, although I think the overall combat in euiv is better
because paradox fucked up
they fucked up EU4, HOI4 and Stellaris
and i hope they dont fuck up CK2 because thats the only good one
It's painfully obvious that they are trying to pander more to a general audience
Victoria 2 and CK2.
Though the dev team had weird priorities regarding CK2, i mean we had a DLC for India and le epic meme events before one for the Crusades. In a game called Crusader Kings 2.
>Imperator Rome
>Not an incomplete and boring mess.
How about you play some other Paradox games then shitpost.
Fuck off shill
>1 consul
>CK2
I never liked CK2. Because after 1 family run, you've basically done it all. And they can take forever btw. Doesn't help also that a character that's named "the Beautiful" for example looks like ass in his/her portrait and vice versa. I'm just not feeling it.
*stares at world map clicking pop ups while waiting for mana to refill*
woah........................its like...........................im governing acountry.......................................
miss blobhemia and blobthuania exploding and instantly losing all the land over and over
for me is victoria 2
its far more interesting than map painter 5000
>waiting for Vic 3
Vic 3 will never happen because the guy who made the economy system for 2 left Paradox after it came out
Paradox gsgs in order of highest to lowest difficulty and with no save scumming:
1) Victoria
2) Europa Universalis
3) Crusader Kings
4) Stellaris
5) Hearts of Iron
I found eu4 to be an easier game than hoi4 so I don't really know what you're getting at here
fuck, I didn't know
Victoria II and HoI: Darkest Hour
that's why all the DLC for Vic 2 is just mods half-assed into being base content. They literally don't know how to make fundamental changes to most of the game systems
