It's been a while since we've seen something from Tanimura -he wasn't moved to work on Sekiro when DS3 was finished unlike other devs from the DS3 team- so maybe the butthurt is that it will be a Tanimura game? dark souls 3 did some of the stuff demon's souls had that never made it to dark souls one, mainly stat based upgrade paths and the ending where you kill the firekeeper, also hyper frames, almost everything else though, made it to dark souls 1.

Yea Forums hates DaS III as a part of two part meme. The first is doing so to claim DaS II is better.
The second is downplay the games existence because BB being exclusive was generating an endless salt mine and having a superior game to DaS II or even DaS 1 would lesson that salt mine. This is why good comparisons between BB and III are avoided at all costs, because people would see how close III is to BB, even possibly beating it out in number of quality fights.

No, Yea Forums was expecting a DaS sequel. BB sparked the "Ok, this is epic, brand new setting!" which became an excuse to shit on things they were already originally expecting for DaS II that ironically weren't in II.

Good, I don't want added content in remasters, in the same way I don't want added content in film/album remasters. I want to play Demon's Souls at a consistent 60fps rendered at 1080.

That art was awesome but the From artist in the video where it's from says its just some designs they made specifically for that demo.
