It's right in the sense that you'll get to call those tiles more easily since people toss them.

The last tile is the easiest one. Just wait on dora in damaten or either west, north, south winds if it's east round. You can also wait for 1 or 9 but it's a bit slower. I don't do riichi for 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 waits.

You are in furiten, which means that you at some point discarded the tile that would make you win right now.
You can keep your hand and go for timeout, since you technically have tenpai and therefore will get points, or you can try to assemble another winning combination. Otherwise, you can give up, dismantle your hand, and keep playing trying to not play into other players waits.

I don't know of you can tsumo it or not though

The point of chiitoitsu is that if you wind up with 4+ pair, you're probably going to lose the hand anyway, so you may as well hold on to a long shot that is easy to fold when it fails instead of loading up on dangerous tiles you probably won't get to tenpai anyway.

In Riichi Mahjong, your hand must satisfy a condition (yaku) beyond having 4 sets and a pair. Open up the list of yaku in the game, it should be in the top right I think. A good amount of yaku require a closed/concealed hand, which means no calling chii/pon/kan. Ron (calling another player's discard as your winning tile) is okay though in that regard, it doesn't open your hand.

Mahjong belongs in all of them, Mahjong Soul itself is now Yea Forums related until mods decide that we had enough fun.

I have the most trouble organizing / recognizing groups from a big block of the same suit like the example from the pic.

then give yourself 3-5 tiles to start with and look at them, take a new tile then try to think of all possibilities you can have, repeat up to 14 tiles make a winning hand etc

Even with four dora you can't push this. You're too far from tenpai, you'd have to discard several live tiles to get there, and you're in first place in south round so you have no reason to push. Even if he tsumos, second place is the dealer so he'll take the bigger hit.

It's hard to tell from the draws whether 3p passed before or after the riichi, but if it came after (which I have a feeling is not the case) then sure. Otherwise, 4s is half suji + kabe, so both 14s and 47s are out. If 8p passed after the riichi, 5p is nakasuji. 5s should also be quite safe as 2s has passed and there are three 7s visible, so 25s is out and 58s is one chance. This should all hopefully buy you enough time to draw some other safe tiles, assuming he doesn't tsumo or someone else doesn't deal in before then.

Luck is a skill you practice. Yes, you heard me, luck is a skill that can be gained through practice – or so says anime. If you watch any mahjong anime, you’ll quickly learn that luck is a stream which flows from player to player and if read correctly, can be used to gain the upper hand.
The game is much more than just lucking out and drawing the right tiles. Bluffing is a major component, and especially in Riichi mahjong where you can bet extra points which indicates that your hand is near completion. Because it is possible to win off of other players’ discards, it’s important to have an idea for what the other players are trying to accomplish in the game. Not only that, but if a player wins off of another player’s discard, they are responsible for paying them the points for that hand. Pretty dangerous if their hand is a yakuman. This vigilance goes hand in hand with card counting (or tile counting) as it is the best way to stay out of trouble. It is also a strong factor in this game as there are a limited number of each tile and the discard pile is visible to everyone.
There is a lot more so say about the game and the specific rules but in the end you should practice and to get into beginners guides.

Team based Contract Bridge is the most skill based game I played that still involved quite a bit of luck.

If you're wondering, Saki has a kans that includes the yuri style, but not her kans the same way as Pouja.
Saki's kans include yuri (also called kabuki), dai, shoujo, tsundere, harem, karaoke, karaoke style, kankisame, kansuru, chiban, tsukemen and tsurugi.
To get the style of Saki in the kans, you need to go somewhere near Kanagawa and get a student ID card, which can be hard to come by there. There are many places where they sell them, but it might cost more than they charge and sometimes you can't find them at all. They can also be found in other areas, like in Kanagawa University or at various places of convenience.

East = regular 4 rounds (bonus round if dealer wins/keeps winning), South = East (4) + South (4) again extra if dealer wins.

You play 4 more games minimum in south unless somebody gets fucked into the negatives.

Reminder that opening your hand and getting into tenpai with furiten and/or dead draws is not a terrible idea if the game is really late and it looks like a draw, because a yakuless tenpai beats noten in case of a draw.
