This. It was such a takeaway from the actual driving, which was the best part for me. I preferred the original Sega racing over Transformed, 100 percent

Transformed had decent stages but the airplanes where boring and there was no fucking reason at all to add boats

In terms of gameplay, or design? I'm not the biggest fan of wisps, but anything is better than random licensed kart game #374 items when they had the full Sega catalog to pull items from.
