I always liked him on the right with Mallow in the middle. Comfiest team, and maybe the most item dependent. Were there any strong enemies/bosses you could 9999 with Geno Whirl other than no-defense Exor?

fuck me this game is so charming. sure, it may not play as well as games like the m&l games and the classic paper marios for some, but it's got a lot to love. if it got remade nowadays with extra side stories, post-game stuff that actually expands on geno's (woefully underdeveloped) character and story, and maybe even a new party member or two (luigi?), it'd be such kino.
