11?

Honestly they're all pretty similar in quality: solid point-and-click mysteries with excellent puzzles, good characters, great music, and fun/sad/goofy stories. Not a single bad one.

While we're on the subject, did anyone watch Eternal Diva?

Katrielle's game is awful

X is 3x older than Y was when X = Y

Y = X = 3Y

>33-x = x-11
>impossible
I know they say Yea Forums is the dumbest board, but come on...

Unwound future was the best
Best twist with the best villain with the best backstory with the best motives with the best soundtrack with the best puzzles
Last Specter was the worst game, by the way

Paul is 33 while Phil is x
Paul was x when Phil was 11
You can solve this with a couple different methods, but the answer is 22
It's structured as a run-on sentence so that it can trip you up on the math

someone give me a quick rundown on the series post-trilogy

phew, thought my english was worse than I thought for a second

> How old is Phil?
According to the Wikipedia page of Phil, his father died at age 45 from cancer that was spread by a cancer-causing agent. My friend Mike tells me that it is believed to be between 36 and 37 years old and that we don't really know much.

So that seems too young for the man who had all but given up and accepted the life he had led so far in the church, and it looks to me like he's more afraid of his situation when he has been involved in it much longer than he has been thinking about it. He looks more like he's afraid he made a mistake than he is of the church he served.

To sum it up

Phil is very young. At this point I'm not going to discuss the details of the details with Phil, but I will say that he was brought up very religiously.

Google told me the answer was 22, still confusing as fuck.

I think this is the answer

How is it not solveable then retard?

No, Paul was X when Phil was Y. You didnt read the sentence right. He isnt three times older right now. He was when Paul was the age of phil.

Wasnt even me who you replied to the first time. Cope harder

The correct answer to this puzzle is FUCK YOU.

If Phil is 22, then when Paul was 22 Phil would have to have been 7 and a third years old to be three times younger. But the difference between 22 and 33 is 11, so 7 and a third plus 11 is 18 and a third. That's not 22. So that's wrong.

>Bland and uninspired "TRICK QUESTION BRO" puzzles
>shit almost non-existent story
>Not a single new character is likable
>No Layton, Luke, Emmy or any of the other important characters from the series
>ditched the cozy french cartoon-like atmosphere of the previous games for generic slice of life anime waifu shit
>3DS version is a fucking iOS port, doesn't even have 3D effects
What were they thinking?

What color was the white horse of Napoleon?

Wrong.
Paul is 33 and is y years older than Phil, who is x years old
Paul was x, and was y years older than Phil, who was 11 years old
33 - y = x
x - y = 11
x is an even amount between 33 and 11, meaning that y is 11 and x is 22.
Phil is 22 years old.

33 = 3 * (33 - x)
x = 2/3 * 33 = 22

Here's how to solve for y
(33 - y) - y = 11
33 - 2y = 11
33 = 11 + 2y
22 = 2y
11 = y
And how to solve for x
33 - (11) = x
22 = x

If you get this wrong you either messed up here or couldn't read the image

>33-x = x-11
>+11 both sides
>44-x = x
>+x
>44 = x + x
>x = 22
>33-22 = 22-11
>11 = 11
What's the problem here?

This.
