yeah, right. 5Ds was a good anime bike meme aside, but every colored card is shit by principle. synchs, xyzs, pendulum. all of them. and especially links.

used to play, got to KoG a few times, but its just too hard to keep up with the meta sometimes, and when you get behind on the meta, its just not fun. Synchs should be the stopping point for the colored cards.

Yugioh has had many official simulators for ages but they all suck. The only reason Duel links works is because of abusing peoples nostalgia and gacha addiction. Konami couldnt design their way out of a paper bag.

Early DL was good, current DL is going towards the same exact mess that YGO is in.

The monsters with extremely specific summoning conditions that also have underwhelming effects are even worse. It's hard to take any of the "boss" monsters in DM and GX seriously.

No but it did help me get back into yugioh my personal favorite is the tag force series and I'm good with YGOPro till the new switch game

the thing with Vrains is that the plot is too boring, barely it gets track, the only highlights this show offered were revolver using old-school trap cards. Aoi jobbing, Go's weird angle now replaced by Bohman and Yusaku "i always win" strategy, but they don't hold that strong as MUH RURI or EGAO, i can't explain why, perhaps arc-v had an interesting plot but was badly executed or they try so hard to be taken so serious

Arc-V is quite literally the series that killed the yugioh anime.
It did not simply murder any goodwill people had for the series, it absolutely slaughtered it and sodomized it's mutilated body.
V-rains is just the series bleeding to death.

So in reality Duel Links isnt quite as bad as most gacha games.

For one there is a pool so eventually you will get what you want, two the rank system does a pretty good job of keeping hard core P2W players away from the masses and 3 its a card game so there is an actual game to be had here and isnt much different from actually playing Yugioh money and time wise.

Compared to a game like DBZ Dokkan Battle, Duel Links aint that bad.

Both since Zarc and the bracelets are closely linked tp eachother.
But at was the for the best considering how much of a dissapointing shitshow Zarc turned out to be.
It was the only thing that kept people watching even after everything else turned to absolute garbage and they even managed to fuck that up.
