You misunderstand, I think this game gets boring pretty quickly which is why I'm glad I pirated it so I can just play a few dozen minutes here and there in between other games, and even then I haven't played it in a long time. Used like that, it does a pretty good job. I'm just saying, not only were the other Ubi open worlds more boring, they were also much more annoying and clunky to play. It's also an environment I actually want to play in, and it is so far their prettiest and most immersive yet. There is nothing fun in the gameplay of Assasin's Creed but it can be pretty fun to plan a base attack and order your squad around. The simple fact that it's squad-based makes it more interesting than their other open worlds, but that isn't a great achievement.

They were only good for synch shot and easy mode kills. I can't believe people are complaining about not having AI squadmates run through an open field towards enemy camps, not get spotted (enemies go in alert mode when it spots the player, not the AI), just to synch shot
