When you start playing the second one, the first thing you need to do is go into the options and turn death animations off.
Just trust me and turn them off without even considering looking at them, please.

Haven't got around to the 2nd game but I think the 1st alone is worth it at that price

i played Demo for first game. It was like playing Prince of Persia but after every fucked up jump to nothing ( because camera sucks sometimes ) you get long loading. So i would not even bother with first game and move to second game. If you enjoy playing as bad guy and killing humans, it is average game.

Did I play a different game to everyone else or did they play with a controller, or has it been updated between when they played it or something? I never had camera issues.
My missed jumps were just because I was retarded and didn't jump right.

They are fantastic. The first is more linear, and the second is like a sandbox Hitman, where you can finish the level in different ways and replay to grind
My only gripe is that in normal you can parry and hide
I recommend playing on goblin difficulty for the pure stealth experience
They are hugely underrated

I refunded one of them after 1 minute because the controls were painfully clunky.

I've only played the second one but it's a third person stealth game with free jump movement and you don't snap to walkways/platforms and that's incredibly refreshing

The first games really only good because the voice acting is so bad it makes the whole game worth it. In the second it’s not as organic and the voice acting is just boring

Main downside is backtracking,in both games you visit locations you alread been to.Like half of the each game isblike that.Besides that its fun, levels are huge

I enjoy both of them. Styx has become my favorite goblin since I played the first game. The series gives me urge to play as monster races more.
