you can see who will win by looking at draft.
>50mins game
>back and forth
>500 escape, save, stun
>500 buyback, glyph of fortification
>cant push highground
I legit got bored of this SJW game.

it became worse than LoL and Hots that says something.
>SJW
explain what the fuck happened
Nothing. It's just another shit bait made by a mobaby
it just feels like hots where u have to team up with randoms to do something because alone you either pick cheese heroes like huskar if they have bad pick or pray that ur team does not suck.
lads, is it worth getting into dota 2 today?
Been getting pretty sick of Hi-Rez continually breaking smite (most recent patch broke ranked servers for 2 days).
I understand in casual games, if you get DCs, they have 2 minutes to come back otherwise you can leave the game penalty free. Is it the same for ranked as well?
no. dont touch it.
Why do you say that?
And how many hours have you invested?
MMR?
4k hours and 5k mmr
the game is trash and its dying, 7.00 killed it as most people went away from the game.
not him but i invested about 3k hours and my peak mmr was 6.3k and can say that the game is too toxic for everyone.
TI is just around the corner, and if you're willing to grind out for the new arcanas sure go for a Battlepass
But if you want real advice just pick your favorite hero and screw anyone else
If the enemy team is not having fun then sure as hell you are
>toxic
couldn't care less about that.
Don't care about getting flamed or smurfed on. Grinding solo q ranked as a support main in Smite gave me patience of the gods.
I just want to play ranked and grind.
thanks lad, any advice for a decent mid and top picks? I've really enjoyed clinkz as my first carry to learn. I'd like to have atleast 1-2 decent ly comfortable heroes in all roles before starting to q.
>decent mid and top picks?
aure thing bud, what do you like to be?
do you like to be the big dick carry that imposses respect or the sneaky bastard that keeps supports pissing themselves when they are away from their teams?
Little bit of both really.
I tend to also favor low-tier/ wonky shit that most people think are bad.
also support recs, really any first-hero recs are welcome, i want to build my pool in every role.
>SJW
>Dota
They are one of the least SJW companies out there. For fuck sake, I wrote as a joke "nigger" in several games and have not been banned
yeah also, lots of smurfs so beware of that.
honestly don't waste your time. try playing league it's more fun to be honest.
>honestly don't waste your time. try playing league it's more fun to be honest.
Define "more fun".
Also why? Because people in league won't flame or BM you as bad for fear of being banned? Like I said, people telling me i'm trash does not affect me.
notice they have not made any arguments
you keep asking for an explanation and they just say some fluff words
Riki
The answer is always riki
I have never touched a moba before. But from lurking on the various moba threads throughout the years I got the impression that HotS is the most "fun" of the big 3.
how do i git gud, I'm losing mmr by the hundreds, I'm 3k
I get it, most of my friends absolutely lose it after 1 bad game, especially if the randoms are flaming. Plus from having looked into both games, Dota by far is the most mechanically and micro intensive. And compared to League, seems much more punishing.
Seems like the Loki of Dota, don't really care much for Loki, but i'll give him a look. I assume he's ran as a jungler, and maybe a troll pick for everywhere else, especially top?
HoTs is the least intensive, and one you can auto-pilot the most, yeah.
"Jungling" is a thing noobs do because they don't understand the game. Not until very high levels will you see jungling (see: rotating into lanes with a creep army on a select few heroes) done effectively.
Riki is a pretty strong laner actually, if he has some support to help tie down enemies and if the things he's laning against have low movement speed and/or low armor. He's also a good pos 3/4 roaming ganker until he kills enough to get a kit going and then turns into a core.
So what is the current "meta" for dota in terms of team comps?
Do people just run duo top and bottom with a mid?
Or is "jungling" in dota at lower levels more like a quasi-support that just roams and comes as needed for ganks/support?
So you can run him carry? Seems pretty fun.
I can't explain it better than this dude But in my opinion riki truly shine in 3/4 pos
Also roaming is the best thing even tho it became less good over the course of the patch
So cheers
look up dotabuff
thanks lad, guess i should probably start lurking /d2g/ as well.
How are they these days?
