The only Silent Hill that had a soundtrack that could be described as "oppressive" was 1. The others were extremely atmospheric, sure, but filled in a bunch of emotions that didn't "oppress" you, even tho reaching limits of melancholy and depression, not to mention fear and anguish.

Very few tracks of SH games other than 1 are actually industrial... they are more focused on depression in case of 2, and melancholy in 3. 4 was less focused, and the worst of them, and the rest don't count.

an user on the /vr/ diablo thread just released his first version of Diablo 2: v1.15.
it makes minor balance changes to some classics, uniques/sets and increases the level of a lot of the areas no-one ever goes to. it also buffs the skills that no-one ever uses on some classes.
compared to all of the over-the-top mods that people usually make for D2 it's actually a pretty minor and refreshing change.

I just use Plugy, which allows you to have an infinite stash shared by all your characters and allows ladder only items on singleplayer. Also Übers, you can kill the Cow King, and you can see TC and Mlvl
