not really, the berserk ability its a big meh when you're at full health, which you should be during pve. if you were to roll UD, WotF has more situational usefulness with the bosses that fear. i'd say UD and troll are equal and there is no "best" mage race"

if you're mister moneybags you could always blow a sapper and dark rune to get low, but that's stupid expensive

I find Horde way cooler than Alliance, but I don't think I want to give up the amazing comfiness of ally inns and Stromwind. I feel like Alliance is designed to be the "protagonist" faction and Horde to be an ugly antagonist.

Tbh I wouldn’t mind rolling on a legion private server right now. Mage tower, mythic NH/TOV and less trash/MDI nonsense of legion m+ are infinitely more enjoyable compared to anything that I have done in bfa since the pre-patch. And I would only would want to play because I know Blizzard at some point is going to come out with tbc and wrath but no expansion beyond those. Also cata sucked ass. Like a proto-WoD and BFA.

Holybros.. paladins in WoW Beta were so fun... they were fighters with great fighting abilities... and they were actual supports, having better auras, and buffs that lasted for 30 seconds, but that actually mattered, instead of 5 mins buff that you just have to obligatorily refresh... i want to go back..

I think the concept of what a WoW Expansion Pack is killed the game. The fatal error was making a new continent. If instead, they just added new zones to the north and south, say finish Hyjal and make that an entire 60-63 zone and the unfinished tirisfal worgen areas a 63-65 (new cap is 65), the game would function at a vanilla level still. no flying, progressive loot based on next tier after Naxx.

Or dont even raise the level cap and make a cool SFK-like worgen raid in tirisfal. idk, there are possibilities for adding new content, better or worse.

I think the results of the poll really adhere to the desire for WoW to just start over, make a WoW 2 and fix the mistakes of the past.

Yes that’s what they should have done. But that is in the past and the best thing for WoW now (even though people may hate it and I do too) is to adopt what you said. Reversion back to a prior state and then only to whitewash the mistakes away is infantile.

I know that nobody here cares but a good example for say patch 9.0 at least at launch would be to do a world revamp via time-walking phasing (like what zidormi does already). All the zones are new content but with no new level cap. Or at least a level squish to 50 with leveling back to 60. No new zones just advancement of what we already without removing anything (like how cata did). And then at some point later on in the expansion they release a level cap zone for the new level 60.

Horrible idea. The game puts way to much importance on level. The second players go past 60 raids are trivialized and irrelevant. If new content for classic is to succeed we can't have players getting so powerful. Naxx gear is already unbalanced as shit. BWL/ZG has a nice balance of burst to health, but naxx is when people start getting one shot too easily. If anything I would like the end game naxx gear toned down. I don't want any characters getting more powerful, or at least new gear needs to buff health instead of damage.

I think this would be a big shock to the current retail playerbase, and a change that large would warrant making a WoW 2 if classic is successful.

It’s not difficult and doesn’t really require that big of transition. If they’ve gotten used to gear rng, pruned classes, and pruned gear they can stand to tolerate an actually sensible game change that isn’t just change for changes sake. Yes it can be daunting and it’s really only my opinion but I think it will do the game good. And if the people can’t handle it then they can go somewhere else. I think of my suggestion as a healthy intermediate between continuing wow and creating a WoW 2.
