I almost exclusively play single player games. I adore my friend group but they play video games obsessively. 8hrs+ per day and move onto a new game every 2-3 weeks. I can't keep up with that pace nor can my wallet.
Single player games I can go at my own pace, play any time of day, take breaks without losing out on progress ect. Multiplayer games quickly become a second job and I don't need to feel stressed when I'm trying to relax with vidya and a beer.
