The city being 4 times the size of all the original's maps combined(including the following) seems like way too big a map. One of the things I liked about the original's city was how dense it was with little nooks and crannies to explore, I'm afraid that's gonna get lost.
I too, am worried they’ve bit off more than they care an chew.
Adding New Vegas style side quests, with actual dialogue choices, and choices that affect the world is a great addition to Dying Light.
But there’s no way they can add that in enough detail over a map four times as big as Dying Lights. It’s crazy.
Do you guys think they'll actually pull off the YOUR CHOICES WILL INFLUENCE THE WORLD AROUND YOU or is it just a crock of shit?
meh, you might end the game with different items, or maybe the locations would change, but overall its just gonna be some gimmicky PR shit to sell the game
It's hard to strip out gameplay to make another narrative snoozefest
is there any date for the game? i guess more news at e3?
I thought they've managed to stop zombie outbreak in 1. Why the fuck we're in post-apocalyptic world now?
I tried giving the first game a chance but it was just too similar to Ubishit games in feel and characters. Just wanted to drop into a game with randoms online and bash zombies not watch cinematics and become a chore mule for some npcs.
Calling it now will be a epic store exclusive. No steam no buy no watch no care.
is the first game done yet? every time i got the urge to go buy it there was some announcement of more and more dlc coming so i just kept waiting for the final edition with all the stuff included.
I mean, has any game pulled this off properly?
Partly but not fully. The idea of the water supply choice having THAT big of an impact just gives me the impression that its an invisible bar that might flip the other way
>do the choice that give the rebels the water, opening up a black market and causing ruffians to show up
>make every choice after in the game the "good" choice
I can't see how you could have all the good choices done, but if you make one bad choice early game that it wouldn't be overridden at some point.
>I thought they've managed to stop zombie outbreak in 1
Nope. They just stopped the evil dictator bad guy man, everything's still fucked by the end of the base game.
In the expansion, either the city gets nuked or Crane turns into a Volatile.
all those mini-dlcs were only singular items user, that and a gauntlet thats hard as fuck
now is the best time to play it
play The Following
maybe. they'll likely use wb for console publishing again and the first game was also drm free. they dont use unreal engine so there's some hope.
I don't care because I'm a console faggot.
I've never played a game that pulls it off. Life is Strange was so, so close, but then the ending took a massive steaming shit on everything the first half built. It's truly a white whale of gaming. If a game ever pulls it off it'll be an instant classic.
EEE THREE.
Probably coming out either september or december so not over arch with others.
No, Crane just hides the cure.
I hope car is a thing, they nailed car controls in following. I couldn't play any games with cars after that for a while.
no, did nobody play following? it's direct sequel DLC.
What is dead island 2?
a game that has nothing to do with techland.
THIS GAME BETTER BE MULTICULTI
> WHY THE FUCK IS IT TAKING SO LONG
im more worried about the lack of zombie info in this sequel.
No. World is a fuck.
Tell me about this game, Yea Forums. It seems like they're trying to make this a game more focused on personal choice. But will you be able to actually roleplay or will this be another fallout 4?
Next gen.
Chris Avellone is on it, and I think some other decent writers. It can go both ways really, but the game's looking pretty good right now if they reveal actual nighttime and zombie gameplay.
I’m on board as long as I can be a Night Hunter again.
dont see why theyd take it out as it was pretty popular
Crane got infected and escaped into the wider world, spreading the infection.

The good news is that The Following shows that the infections symptoms can be managed by being constantly in UV light.
I'll never understand why devs always think bigger = better.
I'd much rather a smaller, far more detailed world than some big empty boring ass map.
i thought it was already out like a year or two ago
