How do you answer to one who says Monster Hunter World is casual trash compared to the rest of the series?
How do you answer to one who says Monster Hunter World is casual trash compared to the rest of the series?
"I agree"
Just stare at him for a few seconds and roll your eyes.
"correct, but world is more fun"
This
>fun
It is objectively less casual than Monster Hunter Generations/Ultimate because Aerial style shits all over every single monster in the game, and while World incorporates some moves from Gen's styles it doesn't allow you to completely ignore 90% of their AI.
Of all styles, Aerial? I'd understand if you said Brave, and understand even more if you said Bushido, but the style where death is at least a remote possibility is the one that broke the game?
don't care
>but the style where death is at least a remote possibility is the one that broke the game?
If you're retarded it's a possibility, sure. Bushido's a heavy contender but I don't think even that has as much sheer survivability as being able to jump around and over a monster whenever you feel like it.
Precisely this

The way I can tell you Worldcucks have never played X/XX is because you presume things that only work on early monsters. That hopping around shit isn't guaranteed immortality, and when you're fighting against most Flying Wyverns, Fanged Beasts, any of the bugs, or pretty much any Elder Dragon, they have ranged attacks that will snap you out of the sky, as well as huge melee attacks that will punish you for being exposed. The reason why Bushido is broken is because it's got a severe damage reduction even on attacks you have no place dodging, where Aerial leaves you exposed and in the air for monsters to annihilate at their leisure. I'd like to see anybody kill a Yian Garuga with Aerial with anywhere near the ease people make Aerial style out to be.
Precisely. G rank monsters will punish you hard with their combos if you hop an attack the wrong way.
"I don't play world, so I wouldn't know or care about how bad it is."
You can pretty reliably assume that anyone who includes "arts/styles" in a rant about X/XX being blights on the MH franchise have never played either.
Over a monster? With Aerial Bow I think I could maybe get from one end of the monster to the other, but in most cases and with most weapons your movement on the X axis in mid-air is virtually non-existent. That being said, I don't particularly care too much about Aerial's survivability, but there are plenty of traps for Aerial style, even if monster AI isn't built for it.
I doubt anyone will disagree that Zinogre is a cakewalk ordinarily, but if you try to Aerial dodge any of his 3-hit punches, they will knock you out of the air. Bushido on the other hand has an insanely wide window for evasion and it invincibly catapults you out of anything you press B near.
"Generations is worse".
If somebody complains about one of the most contentious additions to the formula they haven't played it? What
An addition that players can choose to 100% ignore if they hate it so much, but apparently you idiots have to be OBSESSED with dragging the entire game down because there exist 6 playstyle options per weapon and 4 of them aren't vanilla.
"NEVER EVER, TODDLERS."

The best game's been on Switch for a while already.
you agree
if you don't you should try playing any other game in the series and see if you still feel the same
