Can someone explain how the coop works? Steam page says it is "local split screen coop" only. Is it not possible to coop the original game with a friend online?
I see the "online party" DLC with the nyakuza update but does that include base game content or is that still stuck in local only mode?

Anyone have a definitive answer on this? And will coop make the game too easy or is the death wish difficulty hard enough that 2 players won't trivialize it?
Wonder how 50 ppl mode will work. Dedicated servers? Password protected? Lobbies? Can you join mid-session? Will there even be hosts? as someone who can change levels and stuff?
pretty sure it's everything as they were shown running around on the ship, would be stupid to have it there and not in the level if it was exclusive to the metro.
Only says it's local co-op because that was a free dlc mode once seal the deal came out.

I've recently been playing the contracts for death wish and I saw they were locked from co-op, I think it's because those would otherwise be too easy, a lot of the challenges require you to be fast and autistic like a speedrunner. Base game itself is fun and some of the time rifts could offer a good challenge for co-op. Also, big addendum to my post; can confirm that a non-nyakuza metro is shown in co-op in the trailer, so it's entirely feasible that you could play through everything besides deathwish mode with a friend
I'm more concerned about the gameplay changes. Will they allow everyone to use timestop? Can just anyone use the traveling ropes in Alpine Skyline which will force the entire server to that rope?

Well, the trailer clearly shows a hat girl on a scooter, But on the other hand all hat girls have basic hats.
not so sure, trailer shows free roam selected for the metro but mail delivery service picked for subcon forest, then again it only shows 18 bubbles for slots, but it's up in the air if that's a cap or just an option

How does the slot machine system works? It generates a certain ammount of things and then swaps them when same kind of thing gets rolled?
You don't have to worry about rerolling the same thing twice it takes it out of the machine
But the overall chance of getting a certain kind of thing, wether remix or hat skin always stays the same, right?
I want mod outfits and hats to work online, but it seems unlikely.
As far as I know yea, I noticed a couple colors that were always paired together whenever I used the machine

Is it impossible to get every item from the slot machine? I'm pretty sure I got every single token and did every rift in the base game and I never got some of the color palettes I passed on earlier, and if Seal the Deal added more shit to the machine I can't imagine I have the opportunity to get all of that stuff plus anything leftover from the base game.
I think the idea was supposed to be you'd get more tokens (and also get more stuff to unlock) from mods
because of this DLC and the sale I finally bothered to check this game out.
my main complaint is that much like the gamecube games it's making kissy faces at the story is extremely terrible and would be better off removed wholesale.
Huh, I just assumed the mod stuff was just for fun and wouldn't give any real rewards.
