I only mod games to remove inventory restrictions, I don't know who the fuck finds limited inventory storage fun in any way.

its not supposed to be fun just added difficulty. if you could store all items and better prepare for any battle you'd strategize less(assuming its an RPG).

Usually I run into something I find annoying and look for a mod to fix it. I rarely deviate much from the vanilla game.

Stuff like in Skyrim having empty hands just sit as a fist in the air all the time. Found a mod to drop it since I was constantly running around with the Bound Bow and didn't need anything in my off hand. And not being able to equip circlers with hoods, just cause I thought that was dumb. And some hair options because the ones in game look fucking AWFUL.

Never modded Fallout 4. The issues I had with it couldn't really be addressed via mods outside of a complete overhaul and I didn't wanna work that hard just to enjoy the game.

I understand this for consumables, but I want to hoard every single items I see, I don't want to waste 30 seconds micromanaging my inv every time I grab a couple new items and my shit is filled.

If a battle can be facerolled by having many items in your inv, just limit the amount of items you can use in a battle, instead of making inventory micromanagement mandatory, slow and tedious.

Like weapon degradation. It's just a needless maintenance mechanic that can never be properly balanced -- it always works I'm one of three ways, either it's super easy to work around and keep gear up to snuff so it's irrelevant other than making you faff about in menus, it's difficult to work around which makes the game tedious and makes you avoid using your best weapons for fear of not being able to repair them or the "balance" involves throwing thousands of duplicate weapons at you because it's either expected that they break constantly or you use them to repair other weapons.

There's no fun way to do it.

in the case of fallout 4 and skyrim specifically; are there any mods that will change the way all the NPCs look?
usually when i see people post those "better bodies/looks" type of mods, it seems like they mainly only affect specific NPCs but all the other npcs have that default look.

Almost all body mods affect every NPC. You've probably been looking at specific character redesign mods if they only change specific NPCs.

Is Fall Out 4 worth playing if you've never played a Fallout game before? i had a chance to play Fallout as a kid but a passed on it for another game. kinda regret not getting into the series.

There is some spergs adding through mods, I wanted to contribute with equipment. If I manage to get this right I add all the missing bases.

I add more weapons since I hate all of Fallout 4's arsenals. I also add some decent lore-friendly armors. Then just a few more functional mods to add features or things that should have been in the game. Lastly, I'll put a decent ENB that isn't too jarring.

Sex mods aren't fun unless you can rape then impregnate and then raise your daughter as your own sexslave and impregnate her too. Since that's how I'd do things in the Fallout world.

It REALLY depends on the price.
I wouldn't buy it full price, but I got it for $40 and although the story pissed me off I couldn't say that was truly a bad decision. Maybe of you get it for 30 or 20 that'd be worth it. But get it for the PC so you can add mods to double the play time.

the problem is they get outdated after a year. The most popular gameplay mods on the nexus are inferior to what came after them and have less than 1 mil downloads. The scene is still going, but nowhere near peak popularity which is when all the compilations got put together.
