How's that channel going, Yea Forums?
How's that channel going, Yea Forums?
Pretty good, hbu
Congrats, how long before you reach 30k? Tomorrow? A couple of days? How long have you been doing your channel for? It'll probably take me a few months to reach that
>83 Subscribers
I don't upload at all and the stuff I upload is of outdated games.
Sitting at 53k subs right now.
pls no bully i thought it was clever
its goin otay
I've got 8 subscribers. I mostly do streams with a shitty $10 microphone. It's a fun side project. Hoping to get passable equipment if the channel picks up steam.
Good job user, personally I think the biggest mistake people make is spending a fuck ton of money on equipment like it's a key to success and then getting depressed when they're still not getting any real views, if you can get subscribers with the equipment you have then you're doing amazing
>982 subs
I mean, I could be doing better and upload more consistently but it is pretty fun. Here is my most recent video on the Minecraft Village & Pillage Update. No, I am not a furfag, the cat is based off my irl cat and the artist who did it is a furfag.
Still on hiatus until I sort out my real life.
It's fun, but I'd work on pitch control a bit. Some of it sounds good, but there are some chord changes that aren't accounted for.
Nice. It's kinda what I have going. Not a lot of viewers and I just rip shit from a PS4 stream. Just lets me work on editing and stuff, but I have fun doing it.
Fuckin' killing it!
pretty good. i've been gaining a lot of subscribers lately
1k subs
Can someone give me a quick rundown on what I'd need for to setup a channel?
>tfw got over a million views on gfycat
how can i milk this
Also made something like $138 from ads, not bad but I took a break from making videos and now i'm stuck at 20-130 views per video.
>all these amazing people in this thread while me and user here are at this level
1.1k, how the fuck do I climb bros?
Not alone, friendo
Have a theme/niche and stick to it
I only upload for Yea Forums and even then, the emergence of webm in 2012 made youtube obsolete.
>How's that channel going, Yea Forums?
I stopped making lets plays and started doing movie reviews, pissed off YMS when I made fun of his favorite shitty movie, divided his subreddit base, and now I don't make videos anymore unless I wanna make shitposts.
>the emergence of webm in 2012 made youtube obsolete.
lmao
>tfw was offered $70k for my channel
I won't lie I was tempted
>start for fun
>get popular
>suddenly "have a schedule" where I have to release a video every x amount of days at x hour
>suddenly hate making YT videos
help, how do i deal with this
That sounds fucking awesome. How'd you do it? Without giving too much away, if you don't want to.
>likes Captain Marvel
Unbased and Cringepilled
by best vid recently, randomly get way more views
i should probably make more vids like it
It's going pretty well. Getting a pretty decent amount of views, though I wish i could put out more videos, faster.
>tfw can't deal with criticism
Specially when it comes from people that are clearly trying to be as mean as possible.
I reviewed Escape from Tomorrow and called it out as the massive piece of shit that it is, and then posted it to his subreddit since he accepts other people's videos. He tore it apart, saying it "didn't seem much like a review" when in fact I purposely copied his entire style. His fans then either shat on my video, or called him a fucking retard and his subreddit was on fire the rest of the day.
I'm moreso pissed now because a fedora lord and e-thot managed to outview me about the movie, but fuck it, I pissed off the furfag.
Doesn't exist, no point in trying to make money on Youtube or Twitch at this point, and besides, no one would watch any of the shit I play anyways
I'm waiting to get a better computer before I start streaming. All I need now is the PSU, CPU, mobo, case, graphics card, RAM, cooling system, monitor, and case.
800 subs. I have a restoration channel where I restore random old stuff.
>spend 60 hours making a 20+ minute long review
>gets a couple thousand views
>slap together a meme video on the same game as an after thought
>it gets 3x the views
youtube.com
where do you shill your shit?
That's the trick, you don't
unironically reddit, and I fucking hate reddit, fuck reddit mods.
>spend days doing research for a character
>spend hours making a video with a review for said character
>make random video opening loot boxes
>x3 more views
JUST
I made this video a little while ago and it didn't get a ton of traction, but I'm proud of how it came out
>had small following
>was starting to grow as a channel
>got hacked and lost absolutely everything
>lost the will to make videos for years
>by the time i came back algorithms kicked in
>all those lost videos = negative views
>tfw got DSP'd by the algorithm
A-at least I can make my shitposts in peace but no time anymore since I have a kid.
