This game is great initially, enjoy the mindless grind and the quests can be fun. It's like a witcher 3 lite.

The big kick in the dick is that, towards the end, I wanted to rush the story and this game FUCKS you in that if an enemy is like 3 levels higher than you, you can't do shit. So I can't rush the main story line unless I grind levels.

At that price yeah definitely. It's pretty repetitive (like every AC game) but worth it just to wander around sightseeing in ancient Greece, the game is gorgeous.

AC oddessy is the most boring game ive played in my life
after playing for 5 hours i realisedd i was going to repeat the same gameplay loop of copy paste dungoens and damage sponge enemies with simplistic gameplay for 60 hours+

I dont think so, mostly on the principle that they make their games after the formula of giving you alright content for about 20% of the game, and then make you do it again and again for the remaining 80, and none of the other games force you as much to as odyssey.

It does cool things, but it gets boring real quick. The combat lacks weight to it too, which is funny because they leaned a little into dark souls territory but it didn't help much when enemies feel damage spongy.

I wouldn't play it if it was free.

And im not defending their decision to include shit like exp boost, but it is surprising to see Yea Forums actually listen to "game journalist" in this matter when it is well known they are fucking shitters that would complain about thing being difficult all the time

With Origins they weren't just cosmetic, some great weapons too, whereas with previous games they were always low-level stuff, here they hid some actually useful stuff behind it. Not sure about Odyssey but that went even more full retard and moved even further away from stealth so wouldn't be surprised.
