Too lazy to get a picture of it

Name a stupider and less practical sword

Master Sword

The fireball plant from mario. Weebs need to be locked up

Whatever the zelda sword is called

Zweiberge and Flamhander

What part of sword do you not get?

Have you seen the amount of furry OCs with a keyblade?

i'm pretty sure those pink swords from halo were more popular than any other sword at some point

This our guy

literally the master sword or halo energy sword

>Mario
>Not Japanese as denying war crimes
Mongoloid

Never seen these

Wtf is this?

The minecraft sword, it's literally an icon.

Doesn't really have an instantly recognizable silhouette to normies

This for real

This for memes

What sword?

Now that's just not true.

This is correct

Attached: 1411264984366.jpg (603x720, 61K)

Mastersword is objectively WRONG

This, or the katana

Then what's objectively right?

Sure.

If you can't see the Triforce then it really doesn't stand out that much compared to most of the others.

>Part of the goddamn logo (which also doubled as the cover art in most regions) for the most beloved entry in the series
>not instantly recognizable

To a normie yes, but I'd say most people who have played LoZ games would recognize it from the handle.

>nobody posts this yet
damn, this thread is just filled with zoomers

Attached: Sword_ingame.jpg (1920x1080, 195K)

I usually recognize it due to the m-shaped part of the grip, but I'm biased because I used to draw it a lot when I was a kid.
Do spades count as swords? It's probably one of the only things posted here that are actually an icon and not just an item.

Based Caladbolgposter

Found the lil' zoomer

>background is Black Temple
...what?

It's literally been posted multiple times before you posted you actual retard.

Honestly, this.

Oh yeah, I concede. Mastersword ain't got shit on this one. Hell I think Fortnite pickaxe might be the next one.

This

Squall gunsword is way more cooler.

based

This is objectively the most recognizable sword in Vidya. Absolute normies will recognize it, especially if paired with its plinth.

This is my single favorite sword in Vidya, both in design and for its story. I fucking love the Soul Reaver.

Pic related is my second favorite. I have a thing for sentient weapons.

Minecraft is too good to be mentioned anywhere near Fortnite.

pleb

Most recognizable in a videogame?
Probably a lightsaber from any star wars game.
Most recognizable originated from a videogame?
Probably the master sword or the keyblade, mostly due to the constant appearances throughout their games.
Most iconic?
The minecraft sword is literally an icon.

>Not the original
Absolute philistine

Attached: Soul_Edge_in_Soul_Blade.jpg (300x225, 9K)

Sure, but recognizable? You have to remember how big both are.

Soul Edge in general but I do adore Cervantes' version. Pisses me off that they literally have one of the swords modeled in SCVI but he doesn't have them as a weapon.

I don't even know what these are...The Buster Sword and Master Sword are instantly recognizable. Buster Sword moreso then the Master Sword.

Master Sword.
I think Buster Sword is #2 though.

Beyond those two I*m not sure if there are any video game swords that are really that iconic for people in general.
FF7 was so heavily marketed in the 90s and has gotten lots of spinoffs, zelda is a huge franchise and the master sword is relevant each game.

Keyblade and Minecraft diamond sword would be 3-4 I think.
Thunderfury, Frostmourne, Gunblade & Brotherhood after that maybe.

Attached: sword.jpg (600x600, 72K)

>Doesn't know the Soul Reaver
>Doesn't know Frostmourne
I pity you.

The guy I was replying to was implying that Minecraft was as mediocre and overrated as Fortnite with his reply.

Play Legacy of Kain. It will improve your life.

Pic related isn't full on normiebait (I don't think we can top the Master Sword for that) but I think a solid 80% of Yea Forums would recognize it instantly.

Attached: SOTN_Crissaegrim.gif (248x120, 253K)

Nobody thinks of it or knows what it's called though.

lmao dumb dork souls virgin

idk what game this is even from

Attached: sonig.png (104x75, 21K)

As much as I love Caladbolg, Brotherhood is objectively more recognizable.

Attached: lD8pWAI.jpg (985x536, 60K)

I've never played the soul series. Is that just like, one sword? Is two swords that are dual wielded?

>tfw Crissy dropped on the third ghost kill in inverted castle on my last playthrough

Attached: ok-hand-cat-5a8700730b1d6.jpg (900x900, 74K)

plenty of people name dropped master sword in the game and what do you mean think of it?
You mean people sit and stare into the distance and think "man, the buster sword, that was a hell of a sword"

Now I want to play Soul Reaver, I was thinking about it the other day.

I don't play trash like WOW. I always wanted to go back and play Legacy of Kain but never have.

It's a sentient sword that adapts to it's wielded. The pair had the smaller one destroyed in a battle and the pirate dual wielding them was killed. An absolute ad lad German knight who killed his own dad accidentally then went nuts took the other one which turned into a giant zweihander to suit him and proceeded to mindfuck him because he was weak minded compared to the based pirate who used them for mischief but wasn't really a slave to them.

Minecraft Steve: The Game

Nice. For me, Muramasa is even more iconic but that's because I've been using the glitch to maintain a single sword through multiple playthroughs since I was a kid. I have 999 attack with it equipped and can two shot Dracula because each hit usually strikes multiple times. It's amazing.

Attached: SOTN_Muramasa_1.gif (210x140, 58K)

You should've played a masterpiece like Warcraft 3 though.

Take the time. They're great games. I think you can get all of them on Steam now, though I don't know how well Blood Omen or Soul Reaver play on PC since they don't have controller support so I haven't gone back to them.

You can honestly start with Soul Reaver if you CBA to go back to Blood Omen. The later games cover the events of Blood Omen entirely via dialog.

This.
It also has an interesting story to it delivered by thespians

>Minecraft sword
>Keyblade
>Master sword
>Gunblade
>Sephiroths long dick sword
>Blades of Chaos
>Soul edge
