The new Ghost Recon game is called Breakpoint. The world reveal will be tomorrow (May 9th).

It is aimed to be a new story driven, 4-player co-op experience with new mechanics against Cole D. Walker (Gone Rogue) and his army of weaponized drones.
It will be released on October 4th, of this year. There will be a gameplay reveal too but flaired as "alpha footage". It's showing a sequence in quite a beautiful jungle, with mud mechanics, then to clearing an outpost.
No confirmation yet as to whether or not it will be on Steam, or EGS/Uplay exclusive like The Division 2.
My main concerns about this game will be the >mostly weaponized drones and also whether or not it will be on Steam.
Also, hopefully better driving mechanics?
It is also not confirmed to be open-world, but the reveal happens tomorrow.
I don't understand the need for Ubi games to be on Steam. Just buy directly from Uplay, you don't have to use EGS. Even the games that are on Steam still just go through Uplay, it's not like you can get around it.

So it's on your Steam profile. If you get it on Steam you also get it on uPlay also so better to have it in 2 places if you have the option

Huh. I enjoyed wildlands quite a bit thanks to the fun co op so I’m glad they’re going the co op route again.
I hope there’s a city in the map so we can scale down the windows to infiltrate a room.
