I hate to say it but E3 is dying and has been for quite some time. It's not as big as it used to be, and really it all started with Nintendo making their directs. That showed that that console makers can actually make their own announcements on their own time and not get fucked over by E3's scheduling.

As far as Sony being at E3, that never mattered anyways. Whoever shows off the most pre-made, multiplat, third-party trailers first, wins E3. Microsoft just rushed to acquire those premieres, so Sony knew it would be pointless to have the spotlight on them, when they had nothing of value worth showing.

user, they've already said Persona 5 The Royal is not compatible with existing saves (bullshit it isn't). You'll unlock some form of reward for having an existing save (keep all of your saves regardless) but you'll have to start again from scratch.

I'm never playing Catherine again, it's not a game for brainlets like me. I still remember how angry the original made me, those final levels...
I want to hear more about the gameplay changes in Royal before I decide anything too.
That part sucks too because I got 50 hours into P5 but the idea of having to play those 50 (railroaded) hours again doesn't sound very enticing.

It's going to be a different experience. If it's anything like FES or Golden, it will Really be a different experience. In Golden, you could target a specific rare enemy (Gold Hands) in dungeons and max out your level fast by exiting and revisiting dungeons and levels. Maxing your character obviously allowed you to create the best possible Personas.

Actually this is a stupid complaint considering that P5R has new areas, and new confidants and group activities, not just a new semester. So it'd be pointless to have a new game + save file from P5 because likely you would have missed the new shit because having the save file lured you in the false belief that the experience would be the same.
