not really
i just pick blackbeard
>retard defender camping in the objective room right next to an open vent
>prone down and shoot at his feet until he drops dead
I don't exactly consider that high IQ play, it was probably just them having less IQ points than me.
Shout out sean ranklin
>higher than average IQ in order to play effectively
>r6
Everything below diamond is just random decisions that either turn out bad or good, the majority of platin players are just retards that had luck to win a few matches in a row?
What's 2016 like?
except Blackbeard is one of the most big-brain characters
Ban everyone who smells their fingers
civ 4
yo ban that "Anonymous" guy he's just a troll real tawk
unless you have uncanny aim, you can not play effectively without thinking what you should do next
I like zofia because I think she's hot and she's pretty neutral when it comes to gadgets.
even then, strategy is really fucking simple and is more about coordination and not being a retard/getting shot by a bad angle/behind. for fps, in most scenarios, raw mechanichal skill will triumph most of the time
i miss this game when it didnt have tranny characters with ultra sci fi abilities.
But then again... I also dont miss the first year of r6s when it was a super buggy mess.
Wings of Lardation?
I played the shit out of year 2. It was the best. It was also the only year when i got to plat 1.
>fps games
>requiring iq
Winning a round with a beartrap is the most satisfying thing next to seeing an enemy Fuze kill your hostage.
>tfw played this game since day 1 and remember all the players not realizing that you can fuze the hostage. It unironically used to happen like every 3 matches.
I'd say every game (or any endeavour for that matter) requires higher than average IQ to become among the better.
I stopped playing 3 months ago.
It doesn't require that much of planning, you just play carefully and elaborate your own and personal strategy for every location/bomb site in every map and stick to it hoping that you will outwit the enemy team. Gradually with time you learn to become more polyvalent, carefully picking your operator, order of locatio to defend and spawn location depending on the match, so you keep perfecting your strategies with escape plans, rotation etc. And it works against average and above-average, even pro players but not with players who dedicated their life playing the game and thus anticipating you because they saw all kinds of red thanks to their experience. An experience you can't hope to achieve because well you have a normal life.
>Quick entry denial deployed with Frost after a drone check against players who keep rushing in unexpected entrances and think they're hot shit carrying their team with kills.
That snap is most satisfactory shit ever.
Lmao brainlets can't handle this game
>DURR my pc can't run it
>DURR it's too big (can't figure out how to make room on their ssd/hdd) uninstall the hd textures
>DURR it's too hard
I've noticed this almost exclusively with zoomers I barely see any of then play it lol
Always get burnt out of the lack of content no mods maps take forever and new ops are all trash post season 2
Same bros
The day ubi ban me is they day I'm free
Sadly it's been 4 long years and I'm still not banned
>generic Ubisoft tower hunt, except it's aimed at children
>above average iq requirement
Kek
>one guy left
>multiple people rush outside to kill him and immediately die
>5v2 game
>entire team rushes like there's no tomorrow thinking they will easily kill those 2 guys
>soon to be 1v2 game
this every fucking match
More like just pick Ash and play it like it's CoD
*CLUNK*
Yeah no shit nigger. Your whole point for giving up is because there are better players than you.
A switching meta in a game with few balances patches means a healthy competitive environment. Operators line up, kill holes positions, entry timing, secondary gadget picking. The fact that even the fucking sights preferability is debatable between pros is good for deepening the game
I enjoy the game a lot, nothing makes happier than the snap of a frost trap.
Not really, you can get very far purely on mechanical skill with sub 50IQ. As an example shroud was completely curbstomping while having very little understanding of the maps or gadgets.
>tfw majority of my traps as kapkan are triggered
>one of the best shooter players in the world was curbstomping people in a shooter
woah
>pick Kapkan
>every time I place a trap a drone spots me
>sights preferability is debatable
This is unironically one of the things I hate about this game. Also, the fact you can't really remap your buttons on console (you have to choose from several, shitty preset layouts).
This is one of the few things Overwatch does better. They give you complete customization of your reticle + control layout.
An extreme still proves the fact that an understanding of the game isn't a requirement, you can do what shroud did without being as good as him.
installing Uplay requires below average IQ
>hey goy keep buying cosmetics or spending 3 weeks grinding for pants
>hold angles
>block way
>throw nades
>comunicate with team
>hold angles
>relocate
>))))))hold anglessss((((((
woah impressive strategy there, truly genius iq required
seriously though, you only need 2 braincells to play fps. 1 to move your hand in the keyboard and another one to move your hand to aim and click, anything else is overkill. if you have enough raw mechanical skill you will BTFO any aimlet retard with his fancy angle holding """"strategy"""", rush in and one-tap all the unskilled retards playing slow as shit fps games.
>not just running in playing blitz/recruit montage or fuze shield
>not playing clash exclusively on defence doing the turtle spin
Lmao gunfag shieldlets
