He did feel really good in 4, I'd kill for that version ported over with the Ultimate speed increase.
Fatality is putting in work with him at least, and he's still great to see used well. I still wish he had his old forward smash though, the range is almost non-existent now.

I main K Rool and while I played the original DKC trilogy I don't care for them much today and find Tropical Freeze infinitely better. DK64 is my favorite of them all though. All the complaints only really apply to a 100% run. Theres a reason they let you fight K rool at only half the total golden bananas while grunty required almost all of the jiggies
