Never understood what's so hard about him. His moves are very telegraphed and avoidable. Sure he got a buttload of HP but I did my first kill in a NG+3 game and beat him in three tries. Friede and Gael were much more difficult.

He us harder with summons. Just stay in front of him and whack his head.

I beat Gael second try and Friede got really easy once i learned to just bait out her moves in the second phase.
I can barely get this guy to half hp though.
guess i'm just really bad at tests of endurance.

If you want to truly cheese it you can use the pestilential mercury spell, works wonders on him

Unless you have legit medical brain problems you CAN solo him. What you mean is that you haven't spent enough time learning him to be able to solo him. Everyone can do it, you can do it, you're not expected to kill it on the first try, learning is part of the game.

if you're that impatient just get a Greatsword with lightning blade.
you're likely to die more but you won't have to wait as long lol.

This boss is literally Amygdala from BB except easier because his head is always low as fuck to hit

Just run around until he does an attack with an opening, run in and hit him once or twice and run away again. How have you even gotten this far without realizing this?

I actually have tons of issues with monster/dragon style bosses. Never had any issue with Humanoid bosses outside of Friede. But it could be your build, when I fought him I was a pyromancer and did jack against it

Needed to pestilence cheese the dragon for the kill. When I was a different class I had a much easier time

nah i have no excuses. pretty sure my build is optimal.
it's a mix of Artorias and EK armor, good fire res and low equip load, and i'm using a +10 Greatsword with lightning blade.
I'm just not gud enough, not yet anyway.

You just lack patience, all that Midir throws at you is easily dodgeable, he just has a big healthpool so you eventually get sloppy and is 2HKO, just be patient.
