That's exclusively a Mother 3 problem, which is overrated here exactly for the melodramatic shock value shit it pulls from start to finish. Mother 2 is genuinely a more organic story with better commentary and nuance imo. If you pay attention that is, I've heard retards decry it as a generic save the world plot when that was never really the point of the game.
