According to the post, the GTA 6 map will be made up of “multiple big cities which players can travel across”. This wouldn’t be the first time it’s been done in a GTA game of course, as San Andreas also featured three major cities: Los Santos (LA), San Fierro (San Francisco) and Las Venturas (Las Vegas).

Update, May 7, 2019, 07:30AM EST: A supposedly current Rockstar employee has collaborated this leak by strongly hinting that GTA 6 will feature Los Santos, Liberty City, Vice City and the state of San Andreas.

This leak is given further validity as the site which posted the leak, Glassdoor, require two forms of authentication to prove you work for the company in question. Therefore, it looks likely that this leaker did, or does, work for Rockstar. Furthermore, Glassdoor manually approve every post which is why the leaker presumably used the acrostic format to share the information.

The leak said that GTA 6 would have two maps, not just the jungle. Vice City and Cuba, so you can travel between them. It would be a nice contrast to have one map with classic GTA gameplay and another for sneaking around the jungle with survival elements and shooting people.

I like those maps. In GTAV it took way too little time to go from one side of the map to the other through the highway.
It was especially bothering because of the 40 minute days and Trevor's lines about him living so far away from the city.

Basically what I was thinking. Imagine playing a Scarface type character, maybe less psychotic (we already did that with Trevor) and shine more of his good hearted side (like you saw in Scarface "No women, no kids" type of deal).

I feel like a corrupt female cop, who works undercover would work well and allow for some interesting dynamics especially with how R* handles their protags and I feel like playing a cop has been long overdue in the GTA series. Allowing you to do that, be corrupt, and also be a female ticks a lot of boxes the series has probably had coming for awhile.

Not all female characters are bad, and she could definitely be grounded. Hoping they go back to the character writing and dynamics they had in GTAIV, at least.

Also adding to that, perhaps over the course of the story the roles could be switched where the male cartel member becomes sort of 'good' whereas the female cop gets drawn more into the corrupt side and becomes 'evil'.

Gta 5 took 5 years and a further 2 years after that to fully complete its release with the PC version. Also not everyone will be working on one game they'll be divided up into teams so whilst GTA5 was in development RDR2 was probably also in development with another team, and whilst there was a team making the PC, Xbox One and PS4 versions of GTA5 there would have been a team making all the GTA:Online content like heists as well, and another making RDR2 so that 3 teams there alone and probably a 4th one conceptualizing GTA6.

Fuck off. The last time we got a PC and console GTA release in the same year gave us GTA4 which is possibly the worst PC port of all time. At least they actually spent time optimizing for PC and released one of the best PC ports ever. Even a shitty 750 ti could run the game at 1080p 60 fps. Meanwhile my GTA4 on steam still to this day stutters and has fps dips below 60 even with a gtx 1070.

RDR2 had a months exclusive deal for some RDR online garbage and no one really cared about it. The last exclusive deal I remember was the GTA4 DLC which had a 6 months exclusivity on xbox 360 so if anyone is going to moneyhat an exclusivity deal I'd think it would be Microsoft because they've done it before. I doubt Sony even has the money to spend to secure exclusivity for a game of the scale of GTA. One months exclusivity on PS5 is tens of millions of lost sales from other platforms and Sony can't afford to cover that. Iirc the GTA4 DLC microsoft had exclusive to the 360 cost them several hundred millions of dollars. Might be wrong though.
