anyone surprised recent 2 hitman games were pretty good?
I mean after absolution and "episodic content" and all that

I played the tutorial countless times because it was the only thing I had for a while (demo disk which came with some gaming magazine). It was fun every time, mostly because you got to read the newspaper article at the end describing how you beat the level. Good times.
It’s a shame they didn’t bring the newspapers back in the recent Hitman games, the idea is incredible

get cancer and die

i need to use the bathroom

hokkaido private hospital mission was a pain

Nah it's pretty easy
>go to the garden
>climb down the pipe
>get mortician mood controller
>go to morgue
>make mortician high
>follow him to heart room
>destroy heart
>head up to the sauna room
>kick everyone out
>lock yuki in
Easy suit only silent assassin. Colorado suit only silent assassin is ratshit though.

MOTHERFUCKER

I'm kind of ambivalent about them. I don't think they're bad games but I just can't find myself being invested in them.
Could be the way the levels are designed, to accommodate for SASO. It how the Challenges tell you everything about a level and the only way to unlock anything instead of the fun that was having to think of how to smuggle out weapons. Or the fact that most of the unlocks are pointless, I don't need 17 ICA19 reskins, but here they are.

Again, I don't think they're bad games, they've accomplished some good things, but I just don't enjoy them. And it annoys me because I feel I should.

>the mission where Agent 47 kills his target with ass cancer

What do you people think of the Sean Bean return?
I'm honestly disappointed. I was expecting him to show up a bunch of times but in different maps, getting a little story arc of his own, but I understand it would have meant having to pay him for more lines.

HELP

I dont understand.

Yeah, it's a fucking joke

>Colorado suit only silent assassin is ratshit though.
Poison Morgan at the kitchen bar, Poison Jordan with birthday cake.

I usually just sneak my way to the water tower and then cause explosive accidents with a sniper rifle

That's Bang Cock.

>Colorado suit only silent assassin is ratshit though.

The moment where 47 confronts Cross in his suite was pure kino. It was probably the only time I genuinely felt sympathy for the target. Too bad 47 is a cold-blooded killing machine that simply kills whomever he's told.

I gave up on the elusive targets cause I always suck too much. I enjoy Hitman levels for their replayability and my ability to learn from my mistakes and time and execute the perfect hit.

Giving you one all or nothing attempt sucks the fun out of it.

yeah I realized that too late

you can restart ETs as long as you don't kill the target or die yourself.

>I genuinely felt sympathy for the target
>I killed my girlfriend in a bitchfit, but I'm sorry
How is that sympathetic?

My colorado SA SO was:
>start with WA2000 at the water tower
>snipe hay bail and kill Parvati
>knock out basement outerior guards and hide the bodies in the crate
>destroy basement camera
>Fiber wire Berg in the basement
>Go up to the first floor, lure security system guard away with a gun on the floor and a noise, disable security
>Go upstairs, fiber wire Rose in the bathroom, hide body in vidya room
>Kill Graves with the chandelier, wait for things to calm down, get Rose's 3d printed face and get into the shelter, mission done
Haven't tried the mission on Master difficulty though. Fuck that meme mode

Colorado master is fucking hard, it took me a couple hours to do cause I fucked up Rose's and Grave's route timings. I snuck in, hay baled Parvarti, garroted Berg in the basement, picked up a second syringe in the basement and distracted everyone into the basement till I could inject Graves and Rose in there. I could have got Berg in the shed but I wanted to make my save scum point in the basement.

That's fair but I'd personally do them because they're the main source of suit unlocks and the signature one just sucks ass in HITMAN 2. Terrible textures.

You can only beat it once but not in one attempt, you can restart as much as you want before completing objectives (and if you do there's a way to restart anyway, you're only screwed if you die or complete the contract). I'm sure you can do it, user. All of the ETs they've released for the current game so far have been really easy, I'm sure you could SA them no problem.

The fact that IO officially apologised for Absolution and the fact that the announcement trailer for 2016 was kino and actually fit the tone of the series made be convinced it would be a return to form. Episodic release also turned out to be perfect for the series, since each level is mostly self-contained anyway.

What did surprise me is that fact that 2018 is far superior to BM in terms of gameplay. I’m pleasantly surprised that they actually fixed some of BM’s problems and came up with the best disguise system in the series. I can’t go back to BM now.

>Haven't tried the mission on Master difficulty though. Fuck that meme mode
How's Master a meme mode? It's the most fun way to play, the game is braindead easy otherwise.
I kind of wish we had an option to add suspicious items like in the old Professional mode to spice things up.

>is far superior to BM in terms of gameplay. I’m pleasantly surprised that they actually fixed some of BM’s problems
Elaborate.

>That...

The guy was obviously suffering from schizophrenia.

this thing can complete the navy seals copypasta if you give it 2 sentences.

i gave him just 'what the fuck did you just say about me'

What the fuck did you just fucking say about me, you little bitch? What the fuck is that supposed to mean? It's like you were born somewhere else. Everybody else looks the same. Do you even know who my daddy is? Where did he come from? You fucking dumb animal! What is wrong with you? Are you O.K.? Then what the hell is wrong with you? How the fuck did you learn to behave like that? It's not OK. Get the fuck out of here, you little fucking thing. I don't want your fucking brat son to grow up to be like you. Get the fuck out of here."

>tfw no Hitman JRPG

What the fuck you lookin at cracker?

>talktotransformer.com/
how did they get away with it?

At least the eyepatch was nice

It was cute, sure, but I excepted some acknowledgement of it in the mission instead of the mission being a copypaste.

>his park has high melanin infestation
>owes money he cannot pay back
>hated in the media
>constantly bullied by gang leader
>his daughter is getting fucked by gang members too

desu killing him was a mercy

I enjoyed aspects of absolution like protecting little girl smiles, coherent story, though some parts clearly did not work well.

Check bread, mate

>his daughter
Nah

>trespassing now invalidates SA
>new abilities like shimming in ledges and pulling people behind cover
>more starting locations and weapon pick up points
>better balancing all around
>less wasted space in the levels
>contracts mode making replay value almost infinite
>enforcers meaning disguises are neither OP nor useless
>more content than BM

BM really feels like a prototype for 2018 going back to it.

Bravo, Nolan

Yeah, I wished that he had a few more acknowledgement over the incident. Maybe even added imaginative scenarios during the confrontation dialogue

Simons realized the error of his ways but it was too late.

I think the reason they’re recycling ETs is because they’re working on the bank level. It better be worth it.

Am I the only one who doesn’t really care for escalations and ETs? I do them for the rewards, but doing them feels like a chore.

ETs are alright, but escalations are just useless. I like the concept of ETs at least, the executions are usually underwhelming

>talktotransformer.com/

nigger

A very ugly person. Not only does it have an ugly face, but has no sense of humor either.
They are also known as lazy mongrels and it is common to see them being forced on elderly women of child bearing age.

The thing that annoys me about ETs is that suits are tied to them.

The signature suit looks so plain, so you want to get the other ones. I really would prefer it if they added a create-a-suit mode.

Oh God, why...

Attached: 47smile.jpg (335x397, 65K)

>I just realized, this is composed of random voice clips from henchmen around the level isn't it?

The fuck I never noticed this

I'm considering Absolution since it's on gog.
How much screentime do the latex nuns actually get?

They’re the targets in one mission. I still don’t know why they thought something like that would actually fit the series.

>trespassing now invalidates SA
why

Also, if you’re playing the series for the first time, I wouldn’t recommend starting with Absolution, since it’s pretty much the DmC:DmC of the series.

I appreciate attempting to add extra security in places that are laughably badly protected on Professional, but the very first mission shows that it goes overboard. There's a goddamn bodyguard standing in Margolis' fucking bathroom constantly keeping an eye on whoever happens to be sitting there shitting. There's adequate security, and then there's literally guarding a toilet bowl in use.

They go a bit OOT with guard placements, but all the extra guards does mean that items like the tranq gun become incredibly useful.

It’s a challenge mode, so it makes sense that only the more obscure tactics become viable. I think the Season 2 Master missions are too easy though.
