Needed more scenes of Sam putting grim in her place for the shit she pulled
Shit Splinter Cell game but a decent action one. Blacklist is superior in every way
KINO COOP
>"Blacklist is superior in every way"
>No Michael Ironside
WRONG
What did she do wrong again? Wasn't she helping keep Sarah Fisher safe?
It was fun for what it was
OK, superior in ALMOST every way
>Best outfit designs
>never ever used again except for shitty wildlands loot crates
>KINO COOP
This.
The SP component of Conviction was awful.
>Ubisoft shut the Conviction Co-op servers down
Absolute cunts.
She blackmailed him into doing her dirty work for her. All she ever did to keep Sarah safe was keep her mouth shut.
The part when you escape from Third Echelon while DJ Shadow plays in the background was p neat
>Conviction
>Blacklist
>My shit is superior to your shit!
I don't remember the story but I remember I hated the direction of the gameplay after CT.
one of the most kino videogame endings
>Vic, i love you like a brother
>Brother. Thats family, right?
>whole base goes full alarm
>I remember I hated the direction of the gameplay after CT.
Do you mean after Double Agent? DA played pretty much exactly the same as the first three.
Not if he played on the PC.
Didn't DA simplify a bunch of stealth mechanics?
Why isn't Chaos Theory on the xbone yet
Just play it on pc ya goober
Heh, remember this? We could have real KINO with hobo Sam going full rouge.
I don't have a viable pc
I played on PC. It wasn't much different to CT on PC. Or PT on PC. Which wasn't much different to the first when I played it on xbox.
Not really. No. CT was the game where they simplified stealth. That's why Yea Forums loves it the most.
I completely forget Double Agent all the time. I guess because I played the 360 version. It is like it didn't exists.
Oh yeah I forgot CT removed the light and sound meter
what
Are you not able to make a virtual lan server for it?
It's funny that you think adding user feedback to make the game easier to play actually makes the game harder. I bet you think the OCP made the game harder too.
Actually it was a good plan to keep his daughter hidden for good. Grim actions in Conviction proves that anyone that got his daughter could control Fisher to do anything, including killing his former co-workers at Third Echelon.
Yes, it was a good idea to use his daughter as leverage. It is also why she's a bad person and deserved the bitchslaps she got. I always felt the game ended on the wrong note. Instead of Vic somehow being captured and implied rescued by Sam it should have ended with Grim discovering an overt threat Sam left for her. It's difficult to believe he'd let her go after what she did.
Pure unfiltered shit in every sense of the word.
Just wasn't the same without Lambert chewing me out every five minutes
GODDAMNIT FISHER
>We could have had Assassin's Creed: Washington D.C.
Wow
Oh hey it's corvo
It's an amazing 24 game, just not a SC one
TWO OF THE FINEST OFFICIAL UNOFFICIAL SPLINTER CELLS
>Are you not able to make a virtual lan server for it?
You are via LAN, but it's a pain in the ass and means you have to organize to set it up and play with someone rather than just having matchmaking etc
Wildlands makes for an absolutely brilliant co-op Splinter Cell game.
It was still there, it just wasn't visible on a HUD, fuccboi.
No, it didn't
This is the best summary of the game. It's pretty much what I was thinking the entire time I was playing it. Fun for what it was, but it didn't fill the specific niche that SC is known for.
remember when it was like 2007 or something and you would see this on magazines and videogames tv programs were still a thing where they discussed upcoming vidya?
i would wake up late in the morning in summer, and watch this on tv.. fuck vros i wanna go back to smiling
I got so hard when Sam fucked her up there.
I wish I could find a woman who enjoys getting hit in the face every day.
The final big bad that kept on monologging if you don't kill him was kinda cute
The only things I liked in Conviction were a couple of scenes, such as walking through the night city streets after the EMP blast, casual Sam and the effect of text being rendered as part of the game's geometry.
you can do it in the first game if you find that hidden room at the cia training farm, but you get fired from the agency by Lambert if you do it. where is the optic cable when you need it.
And the guy from Last of Us
Bad SC game but that scene turned me really on.
There are no "guys" in The Last of Us, only xims and xers
the xuy then, my bad
I'd put my splinter in her cell if you catch my drift
fuck
Ima finna break my splinter cell off in her, ya dig
kek
>Sam Fisher shows up in Wildlands
>asks about some other operative "with a bandana"
>they tell him he retired
>Sam quietly mutters how he's the last one
>mfw
You mean like this?
it just didn't work, sorry.
i want to fuck grim damn
Or this?
damn mate, somthing like this yea
I played the Splinter Cell series (well, the first game, Chaos Theory, Conviction and Blacklist anyway) and I really didn't enjoy Conviction. The level set in the Middle East where you just shoot Iraqis was almost poetic in how 2010 it was.
ya got more?
God there's something about authoritative women in (needle striped) business attire that makes me randy
a fun arcade version of splinter cell
the replay ability was legit
Trash
are you guys retarded
splinter cell coop in general is underrated kino, was glad to see conviction didnt disappoint despite the different gameplay
now do one with this model..
>>Ubisoft shut the Conviction Co-op servers down
Well, shit I was planning on grabbing it off G2A.
Guess I saved 6 bucks.
and then the one from chaos theory..though she's not in full view most of the time..
How did Grim become more and more of a Stacy over the years
You can still play it solo, and hodge podge LAN games with tunngle if you're really keen.
>flashback level
Is there a more "THAT PART" level in gaming history? That was trash beyond belief.
i liked her when she was a nerd..
Thing is I played it on the 360 long ago and only played the co-op once.
I was planning on getting it for the co-op again.
>The level set in the Middle East where you just shoot Iraqis was almost poetic in how 2010 it was.
Fucking kek.
>we want the Gears of War audience
Anyone know if it's possible to play this game in windowed mode?
Close enough?
They’re still up, they shut them down temporarily last year
ubishit is elite at creating military aesthetics
Splinter Cell trying desperately to get the CoD crowd was the epitome of the 2010s in general. Conviction killed the series and Blacklist was the dying whimper. Daily reminder we will NEVER get good SC games again because the kids that would be interested in a sequel grew up on Conviction, not Chaos Theory.
That scene was okay, but there are better out there.
I watched the Digital Foundry video as well
this
it'll do
he just straight up kills them, boring
ubisoft in general gradually turned to shit 9+ years ago and i think they were aiming for a younger crowd.
they were either losing money and had to change their entire company, or some jack ass with shit taste carved his way into a leadership role and sunk the ship with his shitty perspective
Best final mission of any Co-op game
The whole industry was shifting, Gears of War was huge, COD was huge, everyone wanted high octane brown and bloom bullshit full of blood and some dipshit at Ubisoft decided that's the direction they needed to go as well.
Hmm, some one really needs to update the list.
It's like the Hitman Absolution of Splinter Cell. A casualized, actionized sequel that completely misses the point of what the series should be all about. Still a good game, tho.
Never cared for both of the franchises that much but that cutscene was sad af :(
more importantly imo, the cost of creating games went up. that and the amount of time it takes to develop games in general, even going back to the 360 and ps3....
you mix all that up and you get a fast food gaming industry we have today...companies trying to push out as much product as fast as they can to get as much profit as they can. what you get from all this is one shitty fast food meal after the next
>ubishit is elite at creating military aesthetics
This.
Ghost Recon Wildlands is pretty kino in regards to the military gear.
I wonder if the thing on the 9th is them announcing a new Wildlands or something else altogether.
hope they loosen up the character movement in the next ghost recon. future soldier nailed it. wildlands has these dudes moving like they got 2x4's rammed up their asses
How the fuck is Watchdogs not on that list?
>hope they loosen up the character movement in the next ghost recon. future soldier nailed it.
Yeah, that and not have the enemies be fucking psychic.
I'd also like to be able to survive in a fight rather than have my health be drained by a guy wearing a tank top wield dual Uzis instantly.
*wielding
Wildlands is so fucking close to being a 10/10, but the AI, damage system and stealth need to be overhauled.
Hit scanning psychic enemies can fuck right off.
>the AI, damage system and stealth need to be overhauled
100% agreed.
Also some more options for customization would be nice.
For instance being able to roll up shirt sleeves, putting pants sleeves over boots, etc.
*pants legs
Guess I need more sleep.
>Wildlands is so fucking close to being a 10/10
Jesus Christ
It is, it's a solid 7/10 tacticool shooter that had some massive fucking flaws that if fixed would improve it tremendously.
It's most definitely not a Splinter Cell game and Blacklist showed how true that is. However I liked it and played co-op a few times.
There's some glitch where Grimm's tits bounce like crazy on PC. Her boob physics must be tied to FPS.
