I'm thinking about getting it and Shakedown Hawaii on Switch. How is the population?

I bought it and forgot I'm bad at puyo

Been playing it all day. I'm not bad, but I'm not great. I'm way better at freestyling than I am at GTR, and I feel like that's actually costing me against high level players.

It's been good during the day (PST). I think I'd bump into the same player maybe once or twice, not very often.

It's not what you think it is, though. It's just playing online without messing up your ranking - there should've been a practice mode of some sort.

Tested myself against the AI, and it's kicking my ass most of the time. I'm not that great myself, I just play by instinct. Is the online filled with vicious players?

Online has both vicious players, and people who I suspect is their first time playing. I've played against some people that when they got into fever, they just completely froze up.

No inbetween, but that doesn't stop me from trying, sometimes I luck out against really good players in PPT. Guess I'll try lobbies, here's to hoping weeklies or Yea Forumseekends for Puyo happen.

If you want to play strictly Puyo matches without getting torn apart by Tetris players, then get it. Plus, online is going to be more active since it's new.
