What went wrong?
Yea Forums hates Sekiro now
Yea Forums dosent play video games so they couldent beat it
This is just one of the standard refrains for us, every big release goes through this cycle. I wouldn't take it seriously if I were you, especially if you enjoyed it.
I'm Yea Forums and I don't hate Sekiro now.
Also, how come I'm missing 4 prayer beads? I have 9 necklaces and I'm about to go out the secret passageway to Kuro and finish the game.
Yea Forums is full of casuals
im a faggot
I have a friend who has 1000 hours in darksouls 3, but only 12 in sekiro and he has owned it for weeks. What happened?
Yea Forums is a reddit colony why do you care
I don't hate Sekiro, I think it's fucking great. But I will put any retarded shitter down who think it's better than DeS, DS1, or DS2. But it is by far a better game than DS3 or BB from a single playthrough perspective. Probably the worse of the bunch from a replayability perspective.
I am Yea Forums. Can confirm that I don't hate Sekiro now.
Hi it's me, I just took a break.
its just soulets.
>No RPG elements to assist bad players
>No summoning to assist bad players
>Can't rely on generous i-frames
>Can't run around to heal, since you need to constantly be applying pressure to the enemy
It's basically the anti-Souls game.
You thought people would believe your lie about your fake friend.
Yea Forums Here, we all disagree with you
>>Can't run around to heal, since you need to constantly be applying pressure to the enemy
You don't need to posture break enemies. Attacking vitality is pretty easy if you know how to maneuver well.
funnily enough out of all souls type games I have played sekiro the most (around 60 hours). I have something like 30 hours per game on the other titles. what gives?
It's also wildly inefficient for 90% of enemies.
>Yea Forums is one person
Making this assumption should be a ban in itself.
Vitality damage? No you can easily do it for every single enemy. Bosses included.
You don't actually need to deflect ever in the entire game.
> inceltoss
matthewmatosis hates it of course Yea Forums finna hate it
>>Yea Forums hates Sekiro now
but i don't? who told you that lie?
its because of no multiplayer. I see no advantage in having zero aspects of it in this game.
They could have made invading players one of those purple ninjas.
Means you didn't go through a secret path that gets you two more and probably missing a boss somewhere
>I see no advantage in having zero aspects of it in this game.
So they don't have to balance around it. From's MP is also a joke, so them not wasting resources is 100% a good thing.
Imagine not playing the game on no charm plus demon and learning how to deflect and keeping pressure
Who the fuck hates it. I love it
This
I dont hate it, but I hate this achievement.
Also: Im Confused that more people seem to have grinded all skills but not beaten all bosses on one save.
>Uses the mode in which going for vitality instead of deflects is an even better strategy than normal as an argument against going for vitality.
???
trainer use. another 32/34 here as well
>its because of no multiplayer. I see no advantage in having zero aspects of it in this game.
The reason the game has tight controls is basically because it has no multiplayer. And it's why the game isn't full of shit like this.
Not to mention that deflects in player versus player would be an absolute nightmare.
I still don't understand what happened here.
Yea Forums here
OP is a FAGGOT
What secret path? Is this late-game we're talking about or is it something before that?
The hidden room before Lady Butterfly's room.
Multiplayer games can have tight controls and hit detection, FROM just can't do because they're a low to mid budget dev thrust into the mainstream spotlight
>they're a low to mid budget dev
You mean the one by the old lady and the goons? I think I got that already. Is there another hidden room?
what i don't understand is how people somehow don't notice that exorcism is the best combat art by miles and miles
This one.
He turned around, and since backstabs are instant in DS1, he got backstabbed the instant he showed his back to the Balder Knight.
There's another in Ashina castle
Also 2 minibosses, one in ashina castle one in outskirts towards the endgame
and the headless ape + regular ape bossfight
Yup. Already found that one. Is there any other secret paths or bosses you think I might've missed?
Where in the castle?
There's one in Ashina Castle, by the Antechamber idol.
gyoubu wallscroll... sitting samurai dudes.......
Fug. I already found that AND the ape duo fight.
And the late-game Drunkard fight AND the Seven Spears by the secret passageway.
It's not very fun.
>Tfw I'm on NG+2 charmless with 8 prayer necklaces
Fucking help me
Did you get the miniboss in late-game castle? It's just below where you talk to Isshin as an NPC.
Also there's a Lone Shadow guy at the entrance to the sunken valley (in the hut where you light an idol the first time through). I'm not sure if he's still there once the castle is burning though.
Did you look at all the vendors inventories? Some sell prayer beads. There are also some in lakes in mibu, Senpou and fountainhead. Did you do the harder Hirata Estate that reprises Juzou and has a new boss at the end?
Also one at the bottom of a pond in Senpou Temple Grounds, one under the water in Mibu Village, and one under the water in Fountainhead Palace (i think)
Yea Forums doesnt hate it, casuals and game journo does
>I have a friend
Game journos love it, though.
Try beating SS Isshin like that. I believe it is possible, but would take a long time and be incredibly underwhelming compared to breaking his posture
>i'm on NG+2 on Owl Father with only 7 necklaces
Where the fuck do you people get so many necklaces?
Mini-bosses.
I think he isn't but the prayer bead might still be there. Not sure though, I glanced at something like that in the wiki
No multiplayer
No custom builds / "RPG elements"
No replay value / replay-ability
It's also significantly more difficult than DS3/BB
>No replay value
And yet I've already played it more than Hallway Souls 3.
I know, but I thought I killed them all except for the headless.
you can see his character turn around with his back facing the enemy if you pause quickly enough. not sure if that's part of the animation though.
Then, you're missing the hidden ones.
Some are sold by merchants. Other are hidden around the world, like in secret rooms and at the bottom of lakes. Minibosses are not the only source of prayer beads
i got it a couple days ago. it's tough, and the mini bosses still give me trouble. slowing picking up on it. clearing out the estate right now. Been good fun, hard to get rid of muh souls muscle memory on how I've always played these games.
Get out of this thread before you get spoiled. Also remember to always side with your master, no matter what the iron code says
some are very well hidden
Nigga, there's nothing to spoil.
yup I'm posting this post and leaving. not too worried about muh spoilers, rarely come here any more.
How do I Shichimen Warrior?
2 options
1. continuously run around with divine confetti and smack him. When he teleports either run perpendicularly around him or use the purple umbrella
2. get anti-air deathblow and wait for him to jump
>It's also significantly more difficult than DS3/BB
Really ? i personally had way more trouble with DS3 and BB, than Sekiro.
The trash mob are a total jokes in this game, it's so much more easy to navigate in the world and parry shutdowns the boss hard.
Honestly, the hardest boss i faced was the Wrath Demon and it was around "Pontif Sulyvahn" tier of difficult.
who want to argue with same autists for trillionth time? autists like to circlejerk among themselves so message changes when sane people ignore them
Yea Forums has integrated it's patterns into a meme.
Thanks bruv. I'm enjoying the game, but being a reaction speedlet is suffering.
Yeah, reaction speeds can be tough in this game. Moreso if it's your first soulslike
Also terror status is fucking stupid so be sure to have pacifying agents
>thousands of people lurk Yea Forums everyday
>lol vee is one peeeeeersooooon
Every time.
Okay, so I found one in the Senpou temple pond.
Also, harder Hirata estate? How do I access this?
There really isn't anything to it after one playthrough. Unironically B-Team
>posts wojack in order to prove a point
lmao
In addition to what the other user said, deflect him with the purple umbrella and use the R1 to send the hit back at him. This even gives your sword the same effect as confetti for a while. Anti-air deathblow is the fastest and easiest way though
Sekiro is my GOTY. Felt like this game was made for me. I just hope the DLC delves into more of the horror aspects.
This Yea Forums guy sounds like a fag.
If Ashina is already burning you can't anymore. After you light the incense in Kuro's room, talk to Emma a couple times, then follow her to the old grave. Then something something eavesdrop on her talking to the sculptor and eventually she'll give you a charm to access Hirata. Just look for a guide to the purification ending to find all the steps. I haven't done it either, but there should be at least three beads there
