>Welcome home, Ashen One.
Welcome home, Ashen One
You know the drill, whip those feet out.
>Firekeepers have little humanities swarming and wriggling under their skin
>Irina, who isn't a Firekeeper, comments on how she feels the dark under her skin
>but the Firekeeper seems fine
She says it herself: she's too weak tobecome a keeper.
Best girl.
Shanalotte dabs all over this basic bitch
She's a poor man's Doll, but her lore with Ludleth was nice
Maybe she just got used to it?
>She's a poor man's Doll,
Doll was unironically the most soulless Souls waifu.
>Doesn't work on newgrounds
Got the .swf link?
She doesn't even react to emotes. Fuck off.
>Souls
Cuckborn isn't a souls game. Stop trying to force yourself and your dogshit game into a fandom that doesn't want you.
SOULS GAMES:
>Demon's Souls
>Dark Souls
>Dark Souls 2
>Dark Souls 3
dude they literally reuse assets from Dark Souls in bloodborne
It's a Souls game in all but name, you delusional retard.
Why is she tied up? She would happily let you quench your lust if it will help you complete your mission.
they're practically the same
Cope.
Like legitimately, 100% seriously, what would her response be if the Ashen One requested a blowjob from her after coming home from slaying Sulyvahn?
She's supposed to serve you. That's her whole purpose.
bros...
>Very well. Then touch the darkness within me.
What do you think?
I wish we can fight Ludleth during his prime, maybe in the Untended Graves Shrine
The milk truck has arrived.
cute
>Ludleth is a pygmy
>It has no bearing on the main story
???????????
who the fuck is the furtive pygmy?
it's M'anus, right?
Soulsborne doesn't have much in the way of doujins, but every game has at least one that makes me max diamonds.
>that cute maiden in black doujin
>Shindol's Mildred doujin
>that one featuring a moss-chomping fatty who builds a harem of desert sorceresses
>Aoin's fire keeper doujin
The dudes that Gael ate.
It’s because she sacrificed her eyes and make herself not whole
If she get her eyes back, she’s affected by the dark/humanities as well by getting visions.
Y-you too
>tfw you will never get to extinguish the First Flame and then sit in the comfy darkness with the Firekeeper, both immortal, until the new Age of Dark finally passes.
why even live
For some dumb reason, prior to Souls III, there was a lot of doubt that Manus was the pygmy. Whole threads could be derailed by it, but otherwise there was no reason NOT to believe he wasn't the pygmy. Dark Souls proper has everyone mentioned in the intro cinematic except the pygmy. Dark Souls also continuously mentions the knights of Gwyn, and Artorias, and we only see Ornstein. The DLC gives us Artorias, Ciaran, Gough...and this guy who is so in tune with the dark that he emanates the Abyss itself...and people want to say he's not the pygmy. It was fucking stupid.
But yeah, Souls III changed it.
does Sekiro have a qt girl in it too?
Bloodborne is better, homo
>that top left questionnaire
imagine getting jerked off by someone's feet for years and never registering on this radar
Emma is kinda cute
Sekiro has qt3.14 Emma.
Is there a worse move in a boss fight than Aldrich's second phase arrow storm? Man, I beat the boss and everything, but when Aldrich does his storm of arrows, then starts shooting out his giant fucking lasers, you're kind of fucked.
I think it’s better of the pygmy identity remains a mystery. The dark soul itself is always shrouded in mystery. Its power is subtle and its influence is understated in history. It is hinted to be the power for the underdog, the unwanted, which is the player character for every game.
She's flawless. People can like whichever girl they want but Emma is quite literally flawless. Its those permanent bedroom, hazel eyes and her soft lips. She's so beautiful.
looks like some girl from a JAV i was watching
I don't like how they can catch up even when fast sprinting.
Haha, yes my brother Bloodborne is completely different experience than what Souls offers. These idiots even think SeKINO is some shitty Souls game. Can you believe that? Haha. They need to learn there place! Haha.
Midir's charge of fury. It's so dull that it makes you wait. I mean it makes sense because he's blind, but fuck me it's annoying when he does it over and over in the second phase.
Um delete this please she isn't even half as beautiful as Emma
Sekiro is by far the most unique From game. It's far different from Souls than Bloodborne was to it.
I'd be fine with the dark soul being shrouded in mystery. Unfortunately TRC crams it down our throats in the worst "mysterious" way possible.
Oh so this is a pasta now?
Nah, that's Lost Kingdoms 2.
Trc never really explicitly say what the dark soul was or who the pygmy is. The inhabitants of trc are simply the pygmy’s descendant. The only new thing we know is that the blood of the dark soul is served as paint for the painted world.
I believes that the dark soul helps the weak and the unwanted, giving them power to survive. However, the dark soul can drive people with strong desire mad. When you seek and use the dark soul for power or a personal goal, the dark soul corrupt you more based on how strong that desire is
That's literally all it shows.
Midir was blind?
I can't beat Friede's phase 3.
Guys, can any of you give me a tip on how to defeat Kath? Thanks.
Any boss that decides to input read and fuck with the input queuing that the game has.
Just wait for an opening after her anime moves then make 2 strikes, rinse and repeat.
A poor Maiden In Black.
>The only new thing we know is that the blood of the dark soul is served as paint for the painted world.
We don't know if that's the case for every iteration of the painted world. We only know that Gael wants it for this iteration.
>I believes that the dark soul helps the weak and the unwanted, giving them power to survive
But that's what I mean. You "believe" this. The pygmy lord when you first enter TRC says
>"Yes, yes, of course. How wouldst one such as thee do service to the gods?" "I have intimate knowledge of thy kind. I know what thy want." "... The dark soul, is it not?" "Why else wouldst one deign to visit this dung heap?" "Give rest to thine falsity, I would be an ally to thee."
But the dark soul is within all humans, yet it's here? In the TRC? Wtf?
>However, the dark soul can drive people with strong desire mad. When you seek and use the dark soul for power or a personal goal, the dark soul corrupt you more based on how strong that desire is
I think you're conflating Miyazaki's nod to DSII's theme of "want" with a literal interpretation of the dark soul and want. To be alive is to want, the dark soul has naught to do with it.
>Sekiro is by far the most unique From game.
That title still goes to Demon's Souls, for a variety of reasons.
I believe you are supposed to hide behind a pillar or behind aldrich own slug body for the move. Many bosses has that “fuck you” move that is extremely hard to dodge and expect the player to either be aware of the surrounding and hide the environment or disengage away. They typically have very clear start up and give player just enough time to act. Dancer’s 2nd phase spinning and LoC 2nd phase super flame sword combo are example of this.
Pretty sure, yeah. It's the only way his attacks make sense - his wild flailing, and his charge attack where he goes past you.
Just sprint around the room.
Nope, it's Deracine.
You're thinking of Aldrich's first phase arrow storm. That one you can hide behind a pillar to dodge it all. But his second phase comes straight down rather than from an angle, and the only way to escape it is to just run away from it. But it follows you, and it also coincides with Aldrich sending his tracking orbs and sometimes firing his lasers. It sort of comes down to RNG on whether Aldrich fires his laser, because if he does, you really can't dodge that along with the other projectiles.
We mean actual games.
But dark soul does have a strong connection to the theme of want. Even that very quote from the pygmy lord hints this. Of course, to live and exist is to want. That’s why the dark soul affect still affect every living thing that it exist within a bit. However, the stronger and bigger a being’s ambition and want, the more the dark soul warp that being’s appearance and mind.
It also connects to hollowing. The more you die and keep trying hard for something, the more hollow you get as the dark soul starts to affect you more.
>That’s why the dark soul affect still affect every living thing that it exist within a bit.
You're ignoring the fact that Gwyn and co. are beings without the dark soul within them and they, too, suffered from want. I feel you're interpreting the dark soul too literally.
>It also connects to hollowing. The more you die and keep trying hard for something, the more hollow you get as the dark soul starts to affect you more.
This was only a thing in DSII, but it wouldn't matter because you can hollow without having died many times. All it takes to hollow is to give up.
Friede was fucking terrible, I wish it was just an Ariandel fight, or Friede is Phase 1 and Phase 2 is just Ariandel. Phase 3 Friede is cancer.
>you kill the main villain 2/3 of the way through and only learn that he was the main villain in the first place by reading item descriptions in levels that come after he dies
Justify this, FROMfags.
>b-but muh lore
IS THIS THE EMMA THREAD?
Yeah.
What a serf.
Rushed game.
Well dying is only one way to increase your want. Increase of desire can be affected by other external factor.
Gwyn and stuffs are affected by other factors, not the dark soul. He himself hold a separate power that is equivalent in power of the dark soul but operates differently. The power of the sun is sort of anti-thesis in power of the dark soul. The sun power is given to people of privilege, of nobility, of chosen ones who have to prove themselves. The dark soul doesn’t need trials nor bloodline.
Aldritch 2nd phase, whenever he does the arrow rain just run in a wide circle ending to him, this will force him to use his scythe and you can attack and dodge easily.
very cute
you caught him with his pants down because he didn't anticipate an unkindled making it this far and had to rely on what was available
>Aldrich sleeping while consuming Gwyndolin
>Dancer, Vordt, and other Outrider knights dispatched to various locations and can't defend him
in the original plans for the game he was the final boss but I prefer the current version where his plan wasn't 100% foolproof
It’s because pontiff already reach his goal. He doesn’t give a fuck. His goal is to cause conflict because the world is too boring and he already achieved that. He’s a mainly a manipulator, not a fighter.
Literally anything the ancient dragon does in 2.
>but the particle effects!
Friede is shit, footfag. Ariandel deserved to be the real boss.
Seeing how difficult the fucker is, I'd say the Pontiff is absolutely a fighter.
...
>Rushed game.
What else got cut from the game? I remember reading about how apparently Gundyr was supposed to be the boss in front of the Untended Gardens and that the Catacombs of Carthus linked to the Undead Settlement.
Ariandel is just an extension of Friede’s storyline. Friede is the true antagonist of ash of Ariandel and she deserves to clash with the you as another ashen in the final conclusion.
Kuro is a cutie
Change of direction =\= rush
Just because they planned on having x but end up making y instead doesn’t mean that the full game is supposed to have both x and y. Every game development is like this. No game starts with a decisive plan from day 1 and never change one bit during the process
The Dark Soul is the immortal essence of humanity.
The Pygmy Lords are merely the bearers of a greater portion of the Dark Soul. They're the elder ancestors of baser humans.
The Blood of the Dark Soul is Gael after he spent ten thousand years killing literally everything with any humanity and stealing it. It's the closest that the Dark Soul has been to being whole since the original Furtive Pygmy.
The Painter uses it to create a painting that cannot decay or die. A Painted World which is fundamentally immortal. A permanent haven, a cold and gentle place for the forlorn and the hopeless. It's the bittersweet ending of the Dark Souls saga. Everything you've done across all three games has been intrinsically pointless in the face of entropy and ennui, and yet, despite that, you manage to create one thing, one single thing, that will last forever. A place where people who have lost their purpose in the world can wallow in their despair forever - Truly, forever.
What the fuck? why does this shit keep happening? This sounds way better than what we got.
can I blame Bamco for this?
How do I get an Emma gf bros
Holy shit. That sounds friggin dope. Sucks how the good ideas are always the ones that get cut.
No, it's absolutely Lost Kingdoms 2. It's a souls-like card-'em-up, very obviously a Fromsoft game and yet completely unique amongst everything they've done.
My most heartfelt wish is for there to be a Lost Kingdoms 3
Don’t forget Voordt having charred babies fused to his (perhaps her?) belly.
Things on paper always look good. The grass is greener on the other side mentality might kick in. I personally don’t like slug boss and we never know what we would lose in the game now to get the original plan for the game
never said it was rushed, just wanted to post the cut alpha stuff
there's also this post kaagaz.io
personally I'm fine with the end result we got though I would've preferred more nonlinearity in the end, regardless I still think 3 is a fine sequel
Gundyr being in the Consumed King's Garden makes way more sense given the "Pus of Man" theme with the entire area. Oceiros clearly wasn't made with that boss room's size in mind either, and it feels like he shouldn't even be there because his idiotic charge attacks keep throwing him headfirst into the fucking walls.
Get a doctorate and infatuate her with your superior knowledge of Western medicine.
>try to find sauce
>google comes up with just "girl"
>saucenao comes up with nothing

I hate to be that guy but I tried. Sauce?
Never rely on machines when you can use Paheal user. Just for you though
>rule34.paheal.net
Thanks, user. You da man!
You're a friend.
I had something to say but said it all.
Again, I truly feel you're taking this too literally. No point in going any further with this.
Of course Bloodborne, which is extremely easy, is in s tier.
Why can't you marry a firekeeper?
that's not how the ranking works
and DaS3 is the easiest by far
You're already married to Anri.
There better not ever be a "D" tier or lower.
>Associating with Hollows
You've... better things to do, I'd hope?
Why can't you marry Yuria, or the Dancer?
>the Dancer
she's married to Vordt
Because they're all broken shells that would make shit wives.
Dark Souls 3 has Bloodborne tier enemies but has the input delay and input queuing of Dark Souls. It is harder by default.
Doesn't Maria do the exact same move but with blood?
yep
Mhm, but it lacks a forward moving trail if I recall.
I don’t recall. Maria extends her range with blood while friede is more spell casting with her power up
Dancer is pontiff’s cum dumpster
The Dancer has the best ass.
The Dancer was sworn to Sulyvahn. And he "forced her to become a dancer" in addition to an Outrider Knight. Make of that what you will.
>Sulyvahn NTR'd these two
truly the worst villain of Dark Souls
every frame of this game has me mentally inserting the 5'11 vs 6'0 meme.
I've always wonder, how does your head fit into those tiny fucking helmets?
>"who are you calling pinhead?"
same way it fits into these
it doesn't
Maybe the stuff about your character being a walking pile of ash was literal
Post your fashion, faggots.
>imagine getting jerked off by someone's feet for years

>cucked by Sullyvan
I just finished Dark Souls 1 and I didn't really find it that special, the start of the game was kinda boring, endgame was so rushed most of the second half is absolute shit , found the combat too slow for my taste, most of the bosses were pretty shit and the second half got destroyed in seconds during my first try, game felt like a generic fantasy setting even if I know it isn't exactly one, some bonfire/boss placements were pretty bullshit and the lack of "main" story didn't help keep me engaged
It also wasn't even that hard, just tedious
I think I only ended up enjoying the trip to ringing the blightown bell, Ash lake and parts of Anor Londo
Should I even bother with the rest of the series?
What about Sekira since it looks different and like something I might actually like?
If you think DS1 is too slow then DS3, BB, Sekiro might be up to your pace and the speed is in that order from slow -> fast
>le 2nd half meme
pleb
Is skipping 2 before playing 3 a good idea?
I don't really like skipping games but what little I know about 2 is from Yea Forums OPs shitting on it, so if it is way worse I might end up skipping it as long as it has no heavy references
>meme
so it isn't just me complaining about the second half?
I have been avoiding dark souls threads for years to avoid spoilers since I always planned to play the series in the future
I really think the second half was pretty terrible, only the archives and the upper New Londo ruins were as good as the rest of the areas in the first half
Also Valley of Drakes being pointless and Darkroot Garden being a boring huge open area was terrible, I don't know how you can argue that the first half wasn't miles better
If you're not enjoying the the pacing of DaS1, just go ahead and play BB.
I will whenever it gets a PC port aka never
If you dislike "slow" gameplay, you will hate ds2 even more. DS2 simply test your patience to the point of frustration and there's no other way around it.
tough fight man. I beat it but I literally have no advice beyond keep trying.
DS2 is different from the rest of the series in terms of how slow it is. BB and DS3 are probably what you would find more your speed.
Just because you're the master doesn't mean you're the strongest.
Blood is the vehicle of the soul, the currency of life.
Holy shit, those are shades of Vordt and the dancer? I was wondering what the fuck those were.
>It is harder by default.
...if you've never played BB and DaS beforehand.
Could I get a spoonfeed on pontiff? All I remember is getting mad that the darkmoon blade lady wouldnt talk to me without a gesture because she fears the pontiff's anger despite the fact that I had his soul in my pocket.
So Demon in Pain was the one stabbed by Lorian right?
That's bait.
*Dignified bow*
there's a few generic ones around Irithyll but Vordt and Dancer's are always paired together and always walk down from the cathedral
Presumably. As a result, the his sword was imbued with chaos.
DaS II belongs in Z Tier
> pontiff
> born from painted world
> extremely talent in both intelligence and power
> this land is peaceful, its inhabitants kind
> get bored as fuck
> go to real world
> encountered revived aldrich, who is retarded with unlimited power and his church crew
> manipulate aldrich to use his power for conquest instead of taking over countries with promise of tasty divine nobles meal
> wars everywhere, it’s fun now
Ironically, Friede as an ashen one enters the painted world and causes civil war in there by stopping the fire cleansing process
Why was their boss arena Firelink Shrine? Like why? What's the point?
I wish there was more "pre-fire fading" art of the Souls series
It's LITERALLY Blood Souls
Cheese Phase 1 with magic to conserve estus for Phases 2 and 3
it's symbolic, the Dreg Heap is about traveling from the end of the series to the start, and then going beyond that to an area that existed before Dark Souls 1 happened
>start at the top of the heap at Lothric's end, with knight corpses and dead pus of man serpents while angels circle above (DS3's ending)
>in the middle of the heap is Earthen Peak though mostly crumbled beyond recognition (middle of DS2)
>face the Demon Princes in the mangled remnants of Firelink Shrine (start of DS1)
>go beyond Firelink to the Ringed City, which has existed since the dawn of the Age of Fire and before any of the games started
She does, yes.
Yea, that kind of art really gives a sense of historical weight to the world of DaS3.
I really like DaS3, despite the incessant shitposting. I may consider it weaker than BB or DaS1, but I really think it's fantastic.
It's implied based on items and cut dialog in AsoA that he was born in the painted world, likely a Corvian or whatever forsaken people that turned into trees. He was a sorcerer by profession and his implied statue can be found in the high wall of Lothric.
At some point he gazzed into the Profaned flame and was inspired by it, utilizing it in the profaned Great Sword and among the holy witch knights under his command.
Sully's purpose was essentially to let the world rot.
It's implied he was the head Scholar at the Grand Archives of Lothric, where he convinced the sickly prince Lorthric that his birthright as lord of cinder was a folly and falsehood. At some point, Sully allied with Saint Aldrich and had a roll in making the cannibal prophet a lord of Cinder to help establish newfound religion of the Deep.
When the flame faded and Aldrich returned, he directed Aldrich to Anor londo where Aldrich broke into Gwyndolin's chambers and devoured the god. This cemented the idea that Aldrich was greater than the gods and last lingering supporters of the old gods likely turned to Aldrich. Pontiff locked the last present line of the gods, Yorksha into her own church and declared himself Pontiff using Aldrich as the new faith.
There are of course, plenty of mysteries to the Pontiff, as there is another element to the events of Lothric and Irythil, this involves the Angels and the high wall. Most of Lothric's knights use divine magic and there appears to have been a civil war between Lothric knights and Winged knights. The winged handmaided Gertrude was locked into the archives for starting an angel cult. At the same time, Arcdeacon Mcdonnel was killed and stowed beneath anor londo. The Deep and "angel" dichotomy is a mystery interwoven with the Pontiffs true motives.
>Hawkwood in the back
perfect
The Dreg Heaps is in the future brah, you literally find Lothric castle there as well. Did you think Gael killed all of humanity with a dark soul shard within the span of a few hours?
How come they look human here but they resemble beasts when the player fights them?
Eye of sully (rings given to them) turns them into beasts.
Ringed City DLC lore was retarded.
Pontiff's rings slowly corrupt his knights
>Knights who peer into the black orb are lured into battles of death, transformed into frenzied beasts. No wonder the Pontiff only provides these rings to those dispatched to foreign lands.
Wasn't Dragonslayer armor implied to be some sort of war golem that assisted Ornstein?
Is it a weapon or just another way for the Pontiff to have a laugh?
>tfw souls games have ruined every other game for you
Sekiro DLC when?
It’s basically berserker enchantment for his warriors invading foreign lands
I think it's meant to be intentional, maybe they're more subservient as beasts while being more dangerous
The humanity is being horny. Fire Keeper fucks hard. Irina is a virgin and doesn't understand why she feels the way she does.
Sekiro should be in D tier by itself. Game sucks
It's the most confusing one lorewise.
I don't quite understand, what was Filianore's purpose? What the hell is the deal with the angels, why do they look so different to the ones at current Lothric castle, and what's the deal with the Pygmies?
Pontiff was raised in a land of bird people, making people into abominations to improve their lethality probably didn't mean much to him.
He would give those rings to his outrider knights and sent them essentially on exile missions, the longer they took, the more lethal they'd become.
By the time you get to Irythil he literally doesn't give a fuck since the population is nothing but hollowed slaves and his most loyal undead knights. There is no reason to hide his evil from the population, because they're all fucked, so town is covered in beasts like the human headed dogs, Sully beasts and human centipedes.
Something odd about this firekeeper. She seems a little too regal to be a simple servant.
IIRC the Dragonslayer armor we fight is just possessed by one of the pilgrim butterflies but it used to have an owner since Lothric is known for dragon slaying and riding
He does it as a way of getting rid of people he doesn't like while also turning them into mindless guards. He did this with the Dancer who, as a daughter of the Irythyll royal family, he absolutely despised.
Reminder that Pontiff is half corvian, half tree. His 2nd phase sprouts branch-like wings and even his crown has vine embroidery.
His mother is a tree woman.
The ones in Lothric aren't angels, they're pilgrim butterflies, though perhaps they aren't that different of a thing since Angels are linked to Pilgrims who have sprouted hollow-tree hybrids from their backs.
My theory is that if there is a Deep, there is some sort of "above" that is a "light outside of fire". Angels come from there and something about these mutated undead called "pilgrims" has something to do with them.
Man this is super good.
Ariandel is also very clearly a Corvian as well, bird hands and bird feet. We know Corvian's have a range of random bird features which explains why neither have bird heads.
Nothing special.
What would sex between a birb and a tree feel like. Did pontiff get hatched from an egg or just drop out of the tree like a pinecone
Yeah, but also keep in mind people who fuck with the deep sprouts roots from their eyes and thighs. Also hollows and Pilgrims are turning into trees in general.
Kino
I'm p. sure the tree women weren't always trees, user.
>what was Filianore's purpose?
pretty sure she's left as open to interpretation as possible to encourage speculation, we don't know if the ash wasteland after her shell breaks is the future, the "real world" with the rest of the city being an illusion, or something else entirely
>What the hell is the deal with the angels, why do they look so different to the ones at current Lothric castle
the ones at Lothric are referred to as "Pilgrim Butterflies" and might be a transitory period between pilgrims and angels. Angels also seem to have control over light attacks while the butterflies use flame and odd dark looking attacks
>what's the deal with the Pygmies?
when the Furtive Pygmy found the Dark Soul he split it continuously to create more Dark, which has been known since DS1. Ringed City elaborates and says he created several "lords" to govern TRC and split the main power of the Dark Soul with, similar to how the 4 Kings of New Londo had a shared government and how all four shared a part of Gwyn's soul
Who gives a shit about her storyline? As a boss fight, she was shit. Her first phase is a joke but then her third phase is just phase 1 but with more iframe dodges and 15 hit black flame combos and anime tier AoE attacks while also never taking a breather to stop attacking. Ariandel was wasted potential. He's wielding a giant brazier but we only see him to elementary attacks with it + spitting fire. He never even got to use his whip and do weird miracles with it mid fight.
>Who gives a shit about her storyline?
...Why play these games otherwise? The combat isn't stellar.
> As a boss fight, she was shit.
What a homo.
We were specifically talking about bosses.
An entire forest area, Grave of the Gods, that was once located beyond the bridge with the dead pilgrims and was supposed to feature the boss that later got turned into Ocerios.
It's even still visible on the DS3 maps that came with the collectors edition.
>...Why play these games otherwise? The combat isn't stellar.
Is this irony? Combat is the only real reason to play a Souls game.
The 'story' is mainly just random manga references and dumb fanfiction filling in the blanks to try and make sense of the disjointed places and creatures.
this one? it's from the art book
>Is this irony? Combat is the only real reason to play a Souls game.
That's a terrible reason to play these games because the combat is mediocre at best across all of the souls games, Bloodborne included. Nothing about them is spectacular.
>Is this irony? Combat is the only real reason to play a Souls game.
That must be why the videos discussing the story and lore across youtube are in the millions of views.
>The 'story' is mainly just random manga references and dumb fanfiction filling in the blanks to try and make sense of the disjointed places and creatures.
Are you one of those brainlets who thinks none of the games have a coherent sequence of events that is readily understood with dialogue and item descriptions? The only things that are "fanfiction" are notions like
>Smough crushes Ornstein because he was jealous he never became a knight
She’s a great fight. One of those fight that you get rewarded to be aggressive and chase her around to smack her in the ass.
What? being aggressive is one of the worst tactics when trying to fight her because she has infinite stamina and constantly spams spin to win attacks.
Even years after the series became nothing but a meme the combat is still better than most games out. The average combat people had before was fucking GoW and Assassin's Creed style games. DMC was basically considered a dead franchise.
>Are you one of those brainlets who thinks none of the games have a coherent sequence of events that is readily understood with dialogue and item descriptions?
You're the brainlet when you just skim over all the inconsistencies. Youtubers swindling legions of kids is no argument for validity.
>You're the brainlet when you just skim over all the inconsistencies
Like what?
>we don't know if the ash wasteland after her shell breaks is the future, the "real world" with the rest of the city being an illusion
What other interpretation of this could there be? Filianore's egg was 'holding back' time like its own microcosm surrounding vicinity of the egg. The second you break it, the forces holding back time are undone and you rush forward to the end (you technically arrived in the Ringed City from the end too, since the Dreg Heap was also at the end)
There's no need for a strict timeline; the game says that "Time is convoluted" at some point. During the main game you hop timelines as well, by going from 'your' time to the Untended Graves timeline.
I thought Ringed City was great and surprised so many people shit on the city.
P. sure TRC and the desert at the end is the real world, and the Dreg Heap/rest of DSIII was a pocket dimension to fuel the First Flame.
>Even years after the series became nothing but a meme the combat is still better than most games out.
I don't want to think anyone believes this, when the games combat is intrinsically brought down by horrible hitboxes in each game (sekiro included) purposefully added input delay on dodges, terribly input queuing, shitty cameras, and uneven playing fields (enemies weapons never bounce off walls while also having infinite stamina, etc). If you think the souls games have better combat than most games released, you clearly are either bias or don't know about many games.
The Souls game's combat have a weighty satisfaction to it that no other game really has matched since Dark Souls 1.
>The average combat people had before was fucking GoW
And that still has better combat than Souls.
You can stagger her so it's great if you get hit on her unless she's doing her super armor move. Also, if she's trying to go invisible, it's easier to keep track of her if you are close by and can catch up to her, which reward you a lot. She also always back dash after getting hit so it's great if you can time your running attack to keep catching her back dash. Be careful of she start up her super armor attack though, but it's possible to react and dodge instead.
This is some weird bait. Ariandal is cool, but I'm not seeing how he's "wasted". The second phase is meant to be this cluster fuck where you have to keep track of Friede who is in a constant hit and run tactic while avoiding Ariandal's very direct collision-course attacks.
Tactically, it is safer to basically keep attacking Ariandal but the game tries to trick you into focusing on Friede because Ariandal seems like a scarier target with massive hit boxes.
As a solo fight, Ariandal as designed would be a pathetically easy fight, because he's not designed around being fought solo. All his attacks are slow and highly telegraphed, meant mainly to catch you off guard when trying to deal with Friede.
>You can stagger her
Until she decides to iframe out of it after the second hit and instantly start a combo string then explode in black flames.
What does this have to do with her being a shit fight?
>Ariandel wasn't wasted
Bait.
Yeah, that one.
It's also nice how the Firelink Shrine is vaguely visible there in the corner of the High Wall.
>two completely different answers for what Filianore's egg means
this is what I mean, it's too open-ended for anything definitive, which I don't mind since it's something to keep fans guessing and theory crafting
I quite enjoy that you can't see Firelink from any location in DSIII. You have to infer that it's on the other side of Lothric's bed chamber. It helps reinforce that it's a place out of time.
Her fight wasn't shit, it's a great fight designed on a learning curb. The first phase is hard, until you learn that you can find her when she's invisible to kick her shit in. The second phase is hard until you learn Ariandal is the weaker target. The third phase is essentially just "Ok you passed, now the real fight begins!"
You sure that isn't Archdragon peak?
Thing is I have evidence for my shit.
Firelink is on the other side of Lothric's tower.
If you are good at catching dash you can hit her as she backdash. Of course, some weapons are better at locking her in stun than others.
I can't see where God's Grave would've been
Archdragon Peak would be behind what we can see on the map
>Carthus Catacombs was originally accessed after Greatwood, where the alter is now, that was actually a doorway
I'll never understand this one. Why remove this? The same thing happened in Bloodborne with the door at the Great Bridge that clearly leads to Cathedral Ward but can never actually be opened.
Both interpretations are the same though. In the main game (not Ringed City) you move through different 'space time zones' through bonfires:
>Main overworld
>Ashes of ariandel
>Untended graves
>Fight with Soul of Cinder
In Ringed City, the bonfire transports you to another 'space time zone', which is probably the future of the main overworld in the game
>The end of the world
At the end of the world, there's the Dreg Heap and the Ringed City. Filianore's egg holds time back in proximity around it and once it breaks, you're at the end of the world in the ringed city too, but it doesn't really matter since as we saw in the Dreg Heap everything is being super crunched together anyway.
Man don't even bring up how badly they fucked DS3 up
>Yhorm
>Gundyr supposed to be Oceiros and Lothric castle gardens being a bigger area with more lore
>Armor sets and weapons in the game data you can't use without hacks
>Incomplete / Lacking NPC quests (can't save Greyrat, Karla and Cronyx have virtually nothing once you rescue them except for selling stuff)
>Locking off / linear paths for Catacombs, Smouldering Lake, Grand Archives
>Clearly a bunch of stuff left undone in a few areas
Fuck bros I'd kill for a remake with all stuff that was supposed to go in
Doesn't account for the fact that Lothric castle is intact during the Gael fight.
but then how do you explain Lothric and Anor Londo still being intact when they should be part of the Dreg Heap's clump of debris? Or how the ash wasteland after the egg breaks is identical to what we see in 3's intro, before shit goes to hell?
The forest area behind the bridge.
I could forgive it all if they included
>Well, what is it?
As a gesture. It's IN the fucking files.
KINO
>can't save Greyrat
;_;
It sucks so bad that this happens with every single Souls game because the games are generally great on their own and they could be so much better than they already are if they weren't rushed. Now that Miyazaki is head and says that they'll put more time into the game, I think the next Souls game will be more realized. I mean it's been 3 years instead of getting a new one every year.
>next Souls game
lol
You're going to get your fucking movie and you're going to like it
gamerant.com
Don't forget how Lothric Castle got gutted after the Alpha. It's actually a lot bigger and its lay out makes more sense before the change. hooktube.com
Oh great, the butthurt ds2fags have arrived.
There's also a second, earlier one that featured a bunch of stuff that didn't make it into the final game.
I genuinely hate how much Soulsbornefags bitch about cut content.
Why would you hooktube Lance's content? He works hard, especially to get the Bloodborne footage.
youtube.com
>hooktube
nice I didn't know about this site
this?
bingo
Dreg Heap
>You are supposed to be travelling through the ruins of old eras in the history of the world, going further and further back. First High Wall of Lothric (DS3), then Earthen Peak (DS2), and then fighting the Demon prince in the ruins of Dark Souls 1's Firelink Shrine. Always descending. The Ringed City acts as "the time before the games", with the place you fight Midir looking supiciously similar to the cavern where the Furtive Pygmy finds his Lord Soul in the intro to Dark Souls 1. By finding Midir, you've travelled back to where it all started, and by finding Gael, to where it all will end.
Because I forgot that I had hooktube on auto redirect up until it died last year. It's something I actually just forgot about. Who cares anyway, this thread isn't going to have much of an impact on anything.
Don't even bother using it anymore, it doesn't function the way it used to.
That lake with the structure in the center isn't in the final game is it?
>There's more by the way. Twin Princes, infact, the entire lothric castle area was at night, and there were serpents with wings flying around instead. The Darksign Sun thing was only going to happen with the Untended Graves area, not lothric castle. The Pilgrim Butterflies weren't a thing.
Fuck, it's all real. God damn it.
the lake is gone but I think it's meant to be the ruins before you fight Crystal Sages
>That's why there is a bugged message
I don't believe that bullshit because Greatwood could be used as a metaphor for a Giant.
well considering Yhorm was intended to be the tutorial boss and Wolnir was fought where he is I'm more inclined to believe it
But there's no reason to think this because there's a boss specifically called a "greatwood" and it isn't Yhorm. Not only that but if you want some evidence to prove that image look no farther than and you youtube channel of the guy who makes videos like .
I never gave DaS3 a chance when it launched because I really just wanted BB2
I know the game deserves more than that, so I'm giving it another go
What are some weapons that basically just let me play like it's BB?
Aldrich was his master.
There are some daggers in the game that have quickstepping as a weapon art, so probably those.
get an ultra greatsword and spam fully charged R2's, has to be the thrust though, there's literally nothing she can do as you just keep knocking her over rinse/repeat. It's cheesy as hell but it works.
crow quills
I like DaS3 but this bimbo is the worst level-up waifu in the franchise. Just another bland Maiden in Black clone. Not even as interesting as the Doll. Hell at least the Emerald Herald moves around a few times.
Thank Christ Sekiro's idols brought back the functionality of DaS's bonfires. That should be the standard going forward.
>Having finally the great lord Gwyn explaining you things and kill the jewish serpents
Now I'm mad that we never got this.
There is a boss called Curserotten Greatwood, it's not the only Greatwood in the game (There is one in Ash Cemetery).
Maybe it was originally intended to explain Stormruler's intended use on Curserotten but to say the message is "glitched" sounds like bullshit, it worked because "Only a Storm could bring down a Greatwood" can easily be taken as a metaphor for Stormruler bringing down Yhorme. Remember, Giants are associated with trees heavily in II.
Whats the PVP endgame like?
Are there any PRO tournaments?
lol
Anyone know what it says in the Japanese version?
Perhaps it's partly also one of those Royal Rat Authority and Flexile Sentry tier mistranslations.
According to Miyazaki, your genitals fall off once you become undead. Maybe she could peg you.
the tree giants from 2 are different from the giants in 1 and 3 though, giants in 1 had faces and in 3 their bodies are closer to rocks than trees
Crow Quills, Crow Talons, Brigand Daggers.
there needed to be more city and less fucking swamps
its just a cool cinematic that gets the noggin joggin
And you never would've gotten it in the first place because most if not all of the blue part is bullshit.
>Welcome home, Ashen One.
>there needed to be more city and less fucking swamps
All those fucking buildings in the background are completely useless. Made me mad. I really thought we were going to circumnavigate the giant gaping swamp abyss in the middle.
The giant in the second game clearly aren't the same as all the other giants.
Hell, you don't even visit that remote mausoleum that they kept showing pre-release.
It doesn't sound like an ending Miyazaki would do, it sounds like the ending Yea Forums would want. Everyone wants some sort of grand closure for the serpents them the true final boss because that would be an obvious close for the series.
Why? The cut content would improve these games dramatically, they’re notorious for being rushed. The fact that they’re as good as they are even with their hasty development cycles is miraculous. Now imagine if they had at least an extra year of work on them.
Some cut content would, other stuff is just developmental spit balling. Would the game be so much better if Gundyr was Ocerios in the court? If winged dragons were above Lothric instead of butterflies?
Considering Oceiros as he is now is a stupidly piss poor reference to Seath, yes.
>titcow fire keeper
No thanks.
Those are just the humanities she's got wriggling around under her skin.
Some of it is dumb (Yhorm as the tutorial boss and fighting liquid Aldrich in Cathedral) but other content would genuinely improve the game like the added level shortcuts to make it less linear and fleshed out online features that never made it
Fo rizzle?
>Piss poor reference to Seath
He's cool dragon man thoug. He also factors into the idea that Lothric was founded by the Namless King.
>Fighting Aldritch in the Cathedral of the Deep is dumb
What?
I don't really buy this one but
>creating your own bonfires
oh fuck that would have been sweet
>lothric castle bigger
damn, just imagine a giant castle with multiple rooms and shorcuts to explore
>Would the game be so much better if Gundyr was Ocerios in the court?
Given that his whole design was initially made for that specific area, with the pus of man, the armor that's said to resemble a king and so on, I'd say yes.
Souls games never do castles quite right, they often just have you explore one aspect of the castle and not the entirety with multiple rooms and pathways. They always have to have a library, even Cainhurst had it and there wasn't much to explore
That's because she reacts to you reaching out to her in her past instead
>Would the game be so much better if Gundyr was Ocerios in the court?
Yes. The game also would have been better if it didn't cut all the inter connected segments between levels.
It still keeps ups
>founded by the nameless king
wut. i thought the faraam knights worshipped the nameless king in an eastern land
the only connection Faraam had to NK was that both were considered gods of war, there's no saying there can't be multiple war gods
GONNA NEED SOURCE
is 4channel shitting up or is it just me
King of Storms is on the crest of something in Lothric, a shield maybe? Either way the consumed Kings Garden houses a shrine that implies a connection as well as explain Ocerios's fixation on dragons as well as Lothric's view towards them.
Cathedral Knight Greatshield
>A heavy iron shield used by the knights of the Cathedral of the Deep. The blessings of the Cathedral have granted it high dark absorption.
>The face of the shield is decorated with the emblem of an old king of Lothric: a bold image of a great bird gazing skywards.
Post Firekeeper feet.
>You are the soulful reincarnate of the Chosen One

The Ancient Dragon's aerial flame breath from Dark Souls 2 is the king of annoying moves. I swear they kept changing the attack's range and damage in patches and for Scholar of the First Sin. On release that thing had to be pixel-perfect dodged and one-shot most builds. You needed loads of Fire Resistance, a +10 Gyrm Greatshield, and Flash Sweat to survive.
Webm slightly related. A friend of mine called this attack the Lonely Mountain.
I forgot it was a gif; I have so many dang DS2 Webms saved.
>The imam
Mashallah, my sides
I know its cheating but Lapp's armor is the best armor in the game for me
>no ragged shit like 80% of the armors in the game
>bulky like it should be
>froghelmet like a true patrician
>no super stupid looking like other plate armor in the game
Shame about the Burial Knight set because it was neat as fuck too
Aquamarine Dagger
>he doesn't parry
My biggest problem with TRC plotwise is how it makes no sense that the humans took the very one sided deal with Gwyn, yet humans manage to build empires and cities outside the Ringed City itself.
Also I find very heartwarming the description of the Projected Heal. I always liked how Miracles worked in the Dark Soul universe
The Boletarian Palace was great, considering that they kept the focus to the Lord's Path.
There's the lion symbolism that most members of Gwyn's family and military have. Faraam's knights were called the Lion Knights as well.
I think the opposite : Soulsbornekiro games do castles very well and give you all the relevant aspects to explore but don't have pointless bullship copy paste rooms or at least keep them to a minimum which keeps pretty much every part of the level relevant while giving an illusion the level is much bigger than it is in actuality.
Is this doujin kino?
Yup pretty nice and cozy for a soulsborne doujin
The game would've worked imho better if you started far away from Lothric Castle and worked your way towards it with the castle looming ominously in the background.
No shields, no feels.
No block, just a little cock.
He was using Aldrich. Locked in a basement being fed a ladyboy he poisoned while Sulyvahn ruled the surface.
Do we know what places are interconnected?
b-but muh soulless fan service
hardest*
Fillianore was supposed to sleep until the end of time, waking her up ripped you out of now to then. Meanwhile Gael was living all that time. And he was killing everyone and taking their Dark Soul. That's why Shira is alive, she doesn't have a Dark Soul, she's got a Lord Soul. If you hadn't killed the last Demon, Gael would have left them be as well.
That's some 10/10 fashion.
Hear, hear. I really hate that part of the story.
need a better weapon to match but the derek yeeter is too fun
same.
i just wish we got more info about Gertrude and the heratic "angelic" religion
i wanna FUCK the firekeeper!

315 posts and no feet?!
This is the only image I have that can be posted on a blue board without edits.
I granted her eyes if you know what i mean
I was a parry god in DkS1 and even Bloodborne. I don't know what happened in DkS3. I don't even try any more.
now imagine just 1 of these games had a story.
reading items isnt having a story every rpg has items
>Moonlithg great sword?

>throughout the whole Dark Souls franchise, the more you battle with a boss, the more desperate/inhuman the boss gets
>Anywhere from gutteral sounds to corrupted stances and inhuman attacks
>Gael, after finding every last bit of the Dark Soul he can find and ingesting it, starts out corrupted and depraved but as the boss fight continues, he stands upright and grows more dignified with every attack until it's no longer Gael you're fighting, but the Dark Soul itself
If you don't think that's the coolest shit, get the fuck out
Ludwig did it first
the furtive pygmy, so easily forgotten
n-not dark souls
>ds3 b tier
>when demon souls is a tier
Into the trash it goes
We're still fighting Gael. He just regains sanity and makes use of his Dark Soul. This is especially apparent by the fact he uses white sign to literally teleport around, all his human techniques were buffed to a level of god.
>Based
Trade 3 for 2 and you are right.
>that last post in the pic
Holy shit! That explains why there were those statues with the serpent's head all over Lothric Castle.
>tfw the serpents were Da Jews! of the Dark Souls universe manipulating and controlling the world from the shadows.
It all makes sense now. Those mustache things were Jew sidelocks. The ugly teeth. The big nose. The stench. Oh God. The Crestfallen Warrior saying it's about time someone did something about it. About the Serpent Jew stench.
It all got cut because it would have become too obvious. Miyazaki is fucking woke.
"Our arrows will blot out the Sun."
>music changes when you give her some eyeballs
not gonna lie, i got hit in the feels..
At one point I actually realized that Gwyndolin and Lothric were both meant to be parallels to each other.
Gwyndolin desperately wanted validation, but never got it. He wanted to prolong the age of fire, despite it being at the end of the line. He had one person still loyal to him, who only fights you after the person she swore to protect died.
Lothric had validation, but never wanted it. He wanted to end the age of fire, despite having the means to prolong it. He had one person still loyal to him, who is an inversion of the Gwyndolin's Firekeeper, as he is the one that dies first - but keeps fighting.
Even the Firekeeper and Lorian are mirrored in some respects. The Firekeeper was horribly malformed, but Gwyndolin showed her compassion. Lothric was a cripple, and Lorian (literally) brought himself to his level to make him feel better.
What's sad is that faggot Vaati probably thought of this first and I just look late to the party but whatever I don't watch his videos so fuck him and also he's gay.
also the fact that they're both girly boys i wanna fugg
>tfw you realize the King of Storms is actually Ornstein and that's why at the end of the fight you receive his armorset
>Ornstien the Dragonslayer becomes the dragon
Ironic.
That can't be true though. Horned Onis have been known to exist for many, many years as alluded by the item description for the Onislayer bow
10/10
Daily reminder that ds3 has shit mechanics and is a boring soulless husk and OBJECTIVELY inferior to ds2 okay bye
Sprint in a triangle or square and you should dodge most of it.
Anastacia is the best firekeeper.
>Oh you got my tongue back....That was unnecessary.
>Thanks faggot, now fuck off.
Best huh.
Never noticed those parallels. Genuine brava Miyazaki.
Nigga what.
No it doesn’t.
That’s not even in the same ballpark of adventure/combat.
>b-but it has a different name so it must be different
I bet you're the same guy that thinks dark souls 3 "rewards you with extra health" for being embered while reminds souls "punishes your health" when you die
Why am I nostalgic for DSIII when I didn't like it much? While I did play through most of it, it just felt disappointing after Bloodborne. Yet, I often think back at it fondly. I often think I would like to replay it.
Bloodborne has no qts like Sirris
I always got one question when I see this, why does Anri's pussy and asshole look so pale and virginal?
Untrue dark ring.
Ahem.
go back to sleep with your puffy vulva
WAKE UP MARIA
She pleases Gehrman for money!
She has a cute hat
Puffy vulvas are fucking sexy though.
Hi, Maria.
I can't enjoy souls after Sekiro
Combat feels so shallow in comparison
They have an atmosphere that Sekino can't touch.
*sekitrash
sekitrash is git gud tier dark souls 2 sequel
People like from games because they are a challenge and can be overcome with persistance. Not the same with sekitrash
t. filtered by ogre
i never liked souls for the combat or gameplay i liked them because i really enjoy the medieval dark fantasy setting, sexy armour and atmosphere.
Sekiro's "YOOOOO" setting bores me.
wait
is that the male model??
Vilheim's sexy helmet goes with everything don't it
beats me
Especially since they should be wrinkled beef jerky.
DESERT PYROMANCER MAKES ME HORNY
His set's too small for my tastes. Unnaturally so, especially the helmet. Lothric Knight helm on the other hand is cool as fuck.
I want to breed her on a summer wheat field
not really everything
that would be a kino fight. Pygmies are the best race and don't get enough representation.
I actually like it specifically because every other knight helmet (except for EK) feels a little too big for my tastes, before the DLC i used to have limited options in the colour palette i'd go with, i usually like gold armor so i'd go with the brass helm but my character ends up looking funko pop and i hate it.
lmao
Well it says (Untrue) so she probably has the Dark Untrue Ring on
10/10
I never took a closer look and the Firekeeper kept refering to him as "the little lord" so for the longest time i thought he was a charred up child, what with how big his crown is compared to the rest of him and how almost playful his dialogue and tone make him out to be at times.
I think i would've preferred it that way
The evil dragon superboss of the DLC is stopping me from pursuing NG+. I can't beat that dragon by myself, I can respec my stats but only 2 or 3 more times. Please tell me what to do, I don't have PS+ so multiplayer is unavailable. I've beaten the DLC final boss so I can't use that NPC summon lady anymore.
who is this Sexrex
___ ___.
I thought how it went was Ornstein went to follow his dreams and hunt dragons with extreme prejudice, so he tries to take on Stormruler but then Nameless king popped up to defend his buddy and whooped his ass right then and there.
Git gud unironically. It takes like ten runs to get his entire moveset down and when you realise everything is pretty easy to dodge you can hit his head at every opportunity.
This is like the Ancient Dragon from Dark Souls 2 but even more annoying. How do I cheese this Dark Souls 3 dlc superboss dragon faggot? He's like a Godzilla.
>body scale sliders can completely ruin an armor piece but makes another looks good
This is fucking annoying.
Standard
If you have a decent INT cheese him with Pestilent Mist. Also to add you can respec infinitely. You can do this by confirming the reset and before you see the particle effect on your character kicking in close the program.
I can stagger her with a heavy wep pretty easily.
>Lautrec's armor is covered in blood in front
>covered in scratches in the back
>Anastacias skirt is the only part of her set that's soaked in blood.
Based.
my boy had rough SEX with a virgin before he died.
can your incel Hollows say the same?
What assests?
I believe you, I just can’t find any
rapists go to hell.
what did you make yours fat or something
Poor man's Yurt.
Poiseless bosses that can be backstabbed and have hyperarmor on attacks suck massive dick. Friede fight should've ended at phase 2. The quailty of the Abyss Watchers also took a hit because of this stupid design. On a sidenote, the Ancient Wyvern should've been an enviromental hazard for the area and not a boss.
>No it doesn’t.
Yes it does, at least since the release of Demon's Soul 10 years ago
of all cut content, DaS2's is the one that hurts me the most
the lore actually made sense
the bosses made sense
the world made sense
>the dark souls 3 part is the linear one
>the dark souls 2 part is the huge open one
>the dark souls 1 part is the interconnected one with shortcuts leading back into itself
woah
When did you realize that all fromsoft games take place in the Ninja Blade Universe?
If you run you can't get hit.
I think FROM should deviate even further from the souls formula. Sekiro wasn't enough.
they made this game after demons souls right?
is it a souls game?
NK killed Ornstein dude.
>[X] Doubt
Midir? Just stay in front of him, you'll learn his moves faster that way.
>Ornstein the dragonslayer
>goes to archdragon peak to slay dragons
>then up and decides to leave his armor behind and go home when the are still dragons around
ya nah.
He tried to hunt Storm ruler but NK curve stomped him.
>Ornstein is the dragon believer
I bet you think Solaire is the carthus worm too
>storm ruler
i meant king of the storm
they don't reuse any assets, they're not legally allowed to
more like Ass in one
How big is souls in japan
What the fuck? Every lore about Ornstein I've read suggest he was trying to find NK and swear allegiance with him.
Dark Souls? More like Dark Soles.
Fuck off Vaati.
>vaati
I don't like this fag either.
fuck me the game is not so bad as ppl say it tho. I still have problems with the linear map but still. Pretty kino also ds3> ds2 by far. At least i don't get ebola playing ds3
I don't watch dumb lore videos but the way i see it.
>Nameless king is infatuated with dragons
>He becomes best bros with King of the Storm, maybe even protecting dragons from the Lords
>Ornstein finds out about King of the Storm, thinks his head will make a fine addition to his collection
>goes to face off in archdragon peak against him, but finds out it's a 2v1
>gets his shit pushed in
Maiden in Black>Doll>Emma>Firekeeper>power gap>shit>power gap>Bitch from DaS II.
Wait does NK like dragons?
I thought King of the storm was another case of Seath and helped NK hunt his own kin
Why would Ornstein ditch his Dragonslayer Armour then?
Bec. he died.
No wait, that belongs to someone else.
god she's so precious. I hope the DLC has her too, her smile must be protected at all costs
>The Dancer has the best ass.
Beast mode Amelia called
I hope you're joking.
Hes the easiest boss of the DLC.
he didn't ditch it, you find the armor in the spot where he died.
the battle could have taken place so long ago that his body withered into nothing, but his armor is made of gold, so it makes sense that it stays in tact.
Footfags are brain damaged.
Rip ;(
Only souls related pic I've got
Bruh, Ornstein abandoned his post in Anor Londo to find his bro NK and successfully completed the Way of the Dragon to become NKs Stormdrake. Thats why we find his armored abandoned in the boss arena.
that's actually closer to the truth than you might believe
holy fuck
>footfetishist are clinically retarded
I think the pygmies are meant to be different than humans in that they don't worship the gods and are more in tune with the dark soul than regular humans are. I also see Filianore in TRC as being more of a hostage negotiation than anything else, like they wanted sanctuary and protection in exchange for not harming Gwyn's daughter and just letting her rest
I played dancer through the entire game except midir and you basically just have to dodge and wait for skills that actually leave openings. Cause her regular melee combos wont do, but the dark aura aoe does, and her invisible spam does. also know that the snow beneath her feet indicate where she jumps. major game winner.
I prefer to think Ornstein became one of the meditating dragons you find in the Peak
why are you guys so sure about Ornstein following in the path of the Dragon.
isn't it more likely that he hated them and went AP to hunt some?
He became the Dung you find in the Ancient Wyvern arena.
Ornstein and NK go way back to the war against the dragons, and a few items point to Orn being loyal as fuck to NK, it makes more sense to me that he would try to follow the path rather than start a conflict against him despite following him for so long
I don't think he became the stormdrake though, that's retarded
>deed
sneed
Get a ugs.
just keep dodging, don't take risks.
wait for her to do her teleport where she throws two frost trails and then charges a dark attack all while invisible.
keep trailling her until she charges the dark attack, while you aswell are charging a 2h R2. it'll do a chunk of dammage and it'll knock her down leaving her open for about 2 more hits.
then run for dear life.
rinse and repeat. should 4-5 times depending on your STR.
har har
Is there anyone outside of Yea Forumsermin faggots who actually believe that DaS 3 is worse than first 2 games?
Pretty much everyone admits that it's a way more polished game with cooler bosses, better optimization, graphics, etc.
Console peasants, obviously, could never even get 60 fps, but it's buttery smooth on PC.
1>3>2
I thought the general ranking was 1 > 3 > 2, with 1 getting the edge over the others for introducing so many aspects of the setting and the world design being above the other games
Her feet were cut off.
>I thought the general ranking was 1 > 3 > 2, with 1 getting the edge over the others for introducing so many aspects of the setting and the world design being above the other games
>1>3>2
I started with DaS 1 and couldn't even finish DaS 2 because I fucking hated it. I hated the visuals, the aesthetics, gameplay and shitty bosses.
I'm obviously not a huge fan of Souls and only finished NG+ in DaS 1, which I liked, but honestly the game had plenty of flaws. I'm not going to talk about garbage PC port because it's irrelevant for console players, but you can't deny that the game kinda sucked starting from the Lost Izalith. DLC improved it a lot though.
DaS 3 felt like a finished, polished product with no weak parts. I liked the final boss way more, DLC bosses like Gael were fucking amazing too. It was also way less sluggish than DaS 1. I'd say that only level design is better in DaS 1 compared to DaS 3 (if we completely ignore Izalith).
2019...I am forgotten.
Yeah, Ornstein becoming King of Storms is retarded. Solaire becoming the Sand worm makes more sense though.
i'm angry and can't calm down anymore because of remembering about all they cut for 3
the sand worm originated in Carthus though, not SL
Cathas was above smouldering lake, at least at the time the grave wardens pushed the worm into smouldering lake.
who is this
>the worm crawled out of SL into Carthus then was pushed back into it
nah
What?
