How the hell am i supposed to play games of this thing if all network stuff is offline i cant even activate it anymore...
If only a PSP could easily be hacked...
Is it true that the PSP Go doesn't have an SD card slot?
You think OP is smart enough to figure out how? He bought a PSP Go, after all.
That would be theft
PSP Go is for high IQ only
>That would be theft
You can't transfer from PS3 anymore?
Having a PSP is useless now, that's if you're collecting. Or have a shitton of playable psp games
What do you steal when you hack something?
For the $20 price point it's an excellent portable emulator. The only real step up is a 3DS
The PSvita is 80 right now. It can emulate the PSP among other things.
>Vita
Well, technically yes because Sony wants you to use their rival Memory Stick format instead of SD cards. PSP Go uses the M2 card, so you can buy bigger memory cards to expand the storage, but M2 is physically smaller than MicroSD so you can't use an adapter (unlike the earlier PSPs).
well, get fucked then, lol
Having dual-joysticks is not bad for the old psp games such as MGS Peace Walker and GTA Stories, but thats just me.
imagine owning a psp
holy fuck
You sound like my semi-retarded cousin.
I though PSP GOs didn't have expandable storage? In fact, every time I've seen them talked about people say that it's the main downside.
The Go is the best version, though. Flawless PSX emulation in a small form factor with true 240p out from a charging cradle, wireless controller, pick it up and move from the TV to bed for comfy play before sleep.
>can officially retire my psp once I transfer everything to my vita
It just wont be the same, will it?
Vita is great for ps1 emulation because it can simulate R/L2 and R/L3 on touchscreen and has a second stick.
>emulating ps1 games on a device without a second pair of shoulder buttons
lel
You can't buy a game directly from the PSP anymore but you can still download your old ones, and activate or deactivate your account directly from it.
if only you could manually download firmware or recover old ps games from psn. boy wouldn't that be something.
this is a fair point
you sure can.
>playing games
>there are many PSX games that use all triggers for anything but camera control
As expected of anime face shitposter. Go play some of the library, you'd probably enjoy it even if it seems "so old".
Nah fuck you, if I can't rebind X4-X6 to have weapon switching on L2 and R2 so R1/L1 is free for dashing then it's shit. That's why I can only stand playing the SNES X games on emulator.
>retard rxn image poster can't read
Go has 16gb on board which is plenty for a PSP. Guess how much the Vita has? None. Newer version has 1gb. Pathetic.
This. 16gb is enough to fit the library of all the 8-bit and 16-bit consoles you can emulate on it. The PSX and PSP games will be the ones to push the limit but it's not as bad as people say at all. I had a ton of shit on mine back when I used it.
>not wanting to hack a 15 yo handheld console
Keep in mind that faceless corporations are not people and it's your right as a human being to use their products as you see fit.
I mean it's not that big of a deal now that sd2vita exists. While the PSP is super comfy I just transferred all my stuff from it over to the vita so I get both libraries.
Quick question: can the Vita PS1 emulation use real analog control? The PSP's PS1 emulation can use analog, but it only remaps the D-Pad to the analog stick, which is even worse.
Connect it to your PC or PS3 and transfer games if you MUST be legit.
Its literally "copy all" and three restarts for all the games free though.
The PSP Go is great though if you get the cradle.
My only complaint is the nub is in a weird position.
It does though?
Personally I would not play anything on it that uses sticks in the first place. Play other kinds of games portably and play full on console games in when it's docked.
I want to get a PSP Go but the PSP is 15 now and the only way to get games is via the web store and then download list and PS3. I have a feeling Sony will kill the PS3 and Download list on PSP soon.
>learning that the PSP Go can output component video to a TV
>didn't get a Vita
I gathered that from what user posted but I've never seen it mentioned anywhere, it's why I never bought one.
I thought all of them past the first model had that port
What can this pos do that my 3004 can't?
hack it
it can use a DS3 too
How the fuck are you getting a vita for 80 dollars the only ones i can find are 200 or higher
Fit in your pocket
