The RTS genre isn't dead when it comes to the playerbase.
People are just happy playing aoe2, broodwar, warcraft 3 and starcraft 2.
I don't think it will revive the developing of the rts genre, other than itself. Other devs should realize that they can't replicate reforgeds success by making a new rts.
It won't revive the golden age of wc3 ums.
It might give wc3 ums a silver age though.
