Nosferatu are not in. I think the final placeholder image is likely Lasombra. I present 3 main evidences to support this.
Firstly, the image on the right is not underground. You can see a window in the far back, and there are also very VERY obvious cues of light/shadow contrast going throughout the hallway. The image is likely an abandoned warehouse, but if it really were Nosferatu, why would they not do a sewer? The rest of the images are so fucking on the nose with the clan themes, why is the one on the right so ambiguous in comparison? It would make sense why this has confused me for so long if it were the outlier clan; the clan that was not in the previous bloodlines but is now. This line of thinking leads me to believe it is Lasombra. The Lasombra also fit in lore in V5, where they didn't as much in Bloodlines 1. Half of the Lasombra defected to the Camarilla, but their historical antagonism with the Ventrue has placed them in a vulnerable position under their rule. We normally associate Ventrue and Lasombra as two sides of a coin, but the Lasombra's precarious political situation now juxtaposes the two, and explains why their placeholder image might be a dark abandoned warehouse rather than another skyscraper across from the Ventrue's.
Second, the Lasombra are the second most likely fit for the game behind Nosferatu. The reason why the Nosferatu seemed like such a shoe in was because of how obvious they were as the essential stealth pick. This is by far the best case for Nosferatu inclusion in my mind, but then I realized: the Thinblood Nebulation discipline is meant to be a substitute for Obfuscate. If we make the case that Nosferatu is in fact NOT in, Nebulation along with the potentially stealth-ish (or at the least shadow-ish) Oblivian abilities of the Lasombra would make enough for a genuine stealth build. Considering the fact that we keep our Thinblood disciplines even after choosing a clan, the inclusion of Nebulation I think is a very important killer of Nosferatu's chances in this way. The first active allows the player to muffle their footsteps and cloud their vision, the second allows the player to incapacitate foes from afar (both are upgradable to currently unknown effects). These, in my mind, are almost enough to make for a stealth build on their own. The fact that environments will be built with the mist transformation in mind further reinforces this.

Third and lastly (and I consider this as maybe the most important point), is that the Nosferatu curse is too debilitating. By my observation, an important pillar to this game dev's approach to design is being more approachable than the first. They haven't directly stated this, but starting as a Thinblood and gaining a clan later rather than immediately at the start works to this effect. Similarly, virtually no new player who wants to go "stealthy" would ever want to do it at the price of basically never being able to speak to a mortal ever again. This line of thinking is also consistent with my belief that Malk would be reserved for DLC, simply because they are not optimal first run clans from a game design standpoint. Some of you may disagree and say that you loved playing malk/nosf first, but this is objectively bad design from a modern game dev standpoint. The Nosferatu are simply too hardcore to be allowed to be in the base game. Allowing players to go Nosferatu first run would effectively cut off far too much content for the player, even if they included an ability like Mask of a Thousand Faces. The case of their clan selection is also a liability for them. Virtually no member of the undead world, let alone a thinblood, would ever voluntarily choose to become a Nosferatu. It is incredibly difficult to write a scenario like this outside of setting your background as something of hyperfocus like a NEET. It would be much simpler, logistically speaking, to reserve them as dlc and write them in as a special scenario. This same logic applies to Malkavian as well.

I'm now resoundingly of the belief that this is Lasombra. It is not Nosferatu. The image is too ambiguous, the inclusion of Nebulation is (by reasonable interpretation) enough for a stealth build, and Nosferatu are far too much of a liability for game design for anything outside of a secondary playthrough. It isn't Malkavian for the exact same reasons. The only evidence supporting the idea of it being Malk is the idea that the image depicted might be of an abandoned insane asylum (spend some time looking at the image, this seems highly, highly unlikely.)
The next clan reveal is tomorrow. The original placeholder images prior to the Brujah were in the order of the OP image, but given Brujah was first this clearly means that placement does not matter. However, the Brujah image filename is img-clans-1.jpg, and img-clans-2.jpg would be Lasombra, which could mean that Lasombra will be revealed tomorrow.
They said inclusion of people with mental illness was important, it's obviously malkavians.

I think I agree with most of what you said OP, but there's another thing to take note of; in the reveal trailer we see all (or most of) the placeholder Clan art on the last one (your pic) we see a Shining reference where the hall fills with blood, which considering the source material makes me think it's a nod to Malkavians since they experience shit that doesn't necessarily exist, much like the blood in the hall
but yeah, the main argument against Nosferatu is that who the fuck would voluntarily diablerize to become an ugly mutant although at the same time I did see talk that the devs said the sewers are made better for travelling in this time, which might inadvertently hint at Nos

People who romanticize Toreadors and the like should be aware of one scenario that happened to a Hunter, who wasn't even hunting said Toreador at the time or any vampires. The Hunter had only just survived an ambush by werewolves, only to be snatched up by an 8th gen Toreador elder, who used her Presence to overwhelm his senses, then proceeded to fuck him and in the process blood bond him to herself. Later on, the Hunter got out of the blood bond and killed the Toreador with a single hit from a candlestick, causing her to light on fire and die on the spot.
That's all that it says about the scenario in Toreador's clanbook.
But in Hunter: Fall From Grace, there's more details spoken about what went on. After the Hunter was blood bound to the vampire, she started to degrade him with all sorts of shit. And I mean that literally. At one point, she had him eating shit. She had him walking around on all fours, naked or in chains. She had him servicing her associates by sucking their dicks or getting fucked by them. She forced him to beg her to eat her "dead cunt".
Grout was fucking amazing. My favorite part of the game writing-wise by far.

Giving the player Vicissitude is far too difficult to pull off, but having a gimped version of it could make for an interesting summoner type playstyle where you make your enemies into monsters. This is probably very old news but WHAT THE FUCK were they thinking with the Warrens level in VtMB? What pisses me off more than the horrible level design and the ridiculous amount of enemies was the terrible, atrocious sound design. The sound that the Tzimisce creatures make is fairly scary, but that only works well if you use it as a jump scare like they did in the King's Way level. If you keep throwing them at me it's just going to become annoying. Playing through that shit level was the closest I ever got to uninstalling a video game out of rage. That fucking sound still triggers me. I played this game 4 times and every subsequent playthrough I just muted the game and used console commands to clip through the level. I want more elaborate feeding. Being an apex predator is an interesting idea but I never felt like one in the first game. Feeding is dead easy. After I got comfortable with the game I'd just run up to people on the street and have at them in plain sight. And of course there are always a few thots in every section of the city that you can use. Playing a Nagarajah would bring that predator aspect to the forefront. Necromancy also has a lot of potential as a discipline. I also like the death obsessed freak theme.

Recently did my first playthrough as a Nos and I can recommend it. I haven't gone back to replay it as normal yet, but as far as I can tell the only quest thing I couldn't do was the kine bartender in downtown; exploration was not affected. Just try to understand the range of kine running from you and how that effects your masquerade. I never lost a point for it unless I was screwing around.

I don't know if any of the patches ever changed the mechanics, but in vanilla it is incredibly hard to cause masquerade violations. The first and second one come super quick, but the more violations you have, the harder it gets to trigger further ones. I had to run up and down the streets of Hollywood for about 15 minutes with war form activated, sucking hunters and police men dry as they appeared to get the last violation.

Jack is a sensible guy. He's a prankster and a free spirit but when interacting with the player he's temperate and civil, even when the player is a cammie. He gives solid advice for free, and never tries to take advantage of the player. He's a good guy Nonsense. They still have mouths and brains, but no one except Nines uses them. And even Nines starts sperging out if you don't agree with him. To his credit, he does give the player a bit of leeway, and the player has no way to voice his distate in a milder manner, but it's still very ill thought out to tell someone to fuck off if they get a bad impression of you instead of trying to correct that impression.

A Gangrel can beat the shit out of a Toreador any day of the week - assuming the Toreador isn't of a much lower generation - but that's OK because Toreador are a Clan dedicated to material pursuits rather than sorcery or strength.

I like the concept of an animalistic loner, but their gameplay was fairly boring in Bloodlines. Most of the popular clans have a twist to them. Memekavians are self explanatory; Nosferatu are very relatable and have the appearance thing to change gameplay; Tremere have magic and a unique haven; Toreador are fun to RP as a normalfag. Gangrel don't have a twist that's apparent in gameplay except for the protean ability which is frankly not great.
Those two clans gravitate a lot of plebian dipshits, not everyone is like this but the "ugly nosferatu just like me :)" and "haha remember when you argued with stop sign?!?!" shitheels are obnoxiously vocal and tend to water down discussion with their shallow memery.
I should point out that I am talking exclusively about bloodlines players, not tabletop.

Most of what the quotes say there is fine, beyond customizing pronouns because who gives a shit. The only true issue I've seen is "taking a stance" on whether issues are right or wrong, which I think doesn't apply to the WoD-type politics because they're innately inhuman. If they legit relegate Malk and Nos to DLC clans its a real red flag for me. The Malk's on the writing front of 'well they were too much effort/controversial to include in launch' and the Nos just being plain laziness. Agree the shit out of this. Malk playthrough was really underwhelming considering what people say about it and is definitely not different enough to warrant an immediate second playthrough if someones particularly interested in the clan going in. I wish I played it first.

When they wake up, they wake up hungry. The oldest vampires in the world, that all other vampires are descended from, are all asleep, and have been for centuries. They're going to wake up soon, and when they do their going to drain humans and vampires dry by the truckload, and then they're going to take over the world. They won't even have to try, the current balance of power just doesn't and can't account for them.
