What's the verdict?
What's the verdict?
Wow, new elder scrolls already?? I didn't even hear it announced!
Best TES ever made.
What are some recommended mods for Morrowind?
the fuck is this post supposed to be about
games been out for years read any number of reviews about it jesus christ
calm the fuck down mate, he just waited for the dust to settle
Fun but flawed.
The majority of the things removed from Morrowind in future Elder Scrolls games made the game better, but many nostalgic fans don't understand this. This is also the case with features Arena/Daggerfall being absent in Morrowind.
I was waiting for the dust to settle first
>removing levitation and making all the cities stand-alone instances made the games better
go fucking die idiot
Absolute meme of a game. We pretended to like it back in 2002 and dumbasses actually thought it was good and in 2019 people have tricked themselves into thinking it's good.
A streamlined version of this, focusing more on going for detail out of all TES games.
Yet in terms of gameplay, there's not really anything like Daggerfall.
The world is amazing. I love quests that send you to really remote locations and Dwemer ruins or strongholds.
STOOPID
It's great and Solstheim is really comfy
i love levitation, but that shit breaks the game sometimes. if they had it in a game as scripted as skyrim, who knows what kind of problems it would cause. it sucks, but it makes sense why they got rid of it.
>terms of gameplay, there's not really anything like Daggerfall.
That's a good thing though
I haven't met a single person who played that game on release and liked it
yikes...
>yikes
Cringe
>cringe
based
I just replayed Morrowind modded to the max, and I can say with confidence that it's better than both Oblivion and Skyrim. No nostalgia googles.
>modded to the max
So essentially your game that is no longer Morrowind is better than Skyrim and Oblivion. Okay that's fine but we're talking about Morrowind here.
Modded Morrowind is better than modded Oblivion and modded Skyrim.
>trying to cast a spell that's way too high level for you, giving you 0% cast chance
STOOPID
the fuck? Morrowind had tons of scripted moments, have you ever even played an elder scrolls game?
also, it makes sense to you that a game developer was just lazy and so that excuses cutting huge parts of their game out?
shit, in daggerfall you could reshape the dungeons with your magic
wait until you're actually old enough to understand a legacy before just jumping in without any information using the crap opinions of Yea Forums
>shit, in daggerfall you could reshape the dungeons with your magic
uhm sweetie, passwall and pitfall were removed after Arena
git gud
She is literally impossible
>muh scripted events
What you want the cameras to zoom on NPC faces and change back and forth? Get a voiced protag while you're at it. Hell it is inevitable at this point, TES 6 WILL have a voiced protag.
I loved being a fucking God and breaking the game at every turn in Morrowind, the amount of stuff you could do was staggering. Artifacts were actually valuable and enchanting was based, there even was spell making ffs.
Cast sanctuary 60pts on self erryday upon entering a bandit cave
Maybe that's why I didn't play it on release and instead played it once some mad lad decided to make Unity project out of it, so it isn't unplayable mess.
>he plays an inferior version of Morrowind that's not even compatible with some of the best mods that make the game twice as good
Is it bad that I'm waiting for the unity daggerfall? The draw distance and swimming speed rekt my shit in Daggerfall.
It's one of the ingredients in the silver bullets used to kill zoomers, it's also known as zoomerbane. "Morrowind" just means zoomerbane in the dunmeri speech. You mix zoomerbane with monster zero ultra and a splash of personal responsibility, whilst bobby darin's "dream lover" plays on the radio (make sure the radio has no digital display, knob tuning only). then, once you've got the concoction ready, just hand load some silver cases with this mixture.
Shooting a zoomer with these bullets doesn't outright kill them but it usually hurts bad enough to stop them from spouting shitty opinions temporarily.
>Artifacts were actually valuable
then why does the ring of surrounding suck so much compared to some random ass amulet you get for getting mugged along ald velothi?
Morrowind is a broken pile of tedious walking and shit combat, but can be broken enough to be enjoyable, and takes place in a world that's the best Bethesda has ever made. For TES 6 they better have given their writers magic mushrooms.
