I always felt that the best reaction to shit like that is to get as ultra-serious about it as possible, forcing your kid to read all the legal paperwork for monetization and all of the technical know-how you need to maintain a high-quality stream. I'd have no problem with my kid streaming so long as there's genuine effort and it's treated like a serious job instead of something that they just fuck around with.

In other words, remove all the fun from something and see if they still want to do it.
