I would highly recommend unlocking manegerial tips first since finding out what makes the ab tick or kill someone is way more important than getting a good result, imo.

Just did the mission to suppress 4 different abnormalities, by putting someone in the bunker and praying whatever breaches isn't too hard.
Ended up being Dimensional Refraction Variant, Big Bad Wolf, Schadenfreude, and Forsaken Murderer.
The first two are also my only WAWs right now, so I lost almost half my crew trying to suppress them.

So are there some unlocks later in the game that makes early game easier outside of equipment and knowledge or the trick is using high tier stuff early on to stock on LOB?

I send the bunnies at the end of phase 2. It's doable with regular employees to supress her as long as you can pause.
If you are fast you can get initiate stage 3 in the Disciplinary department.
Then scroll out so you see everything, do all possible meltdowns and wait until the bunnies do the job

there is no reason to use your own workers though, especially not if you could use them to work alephs on meltdown. you can 100 to 0 her with the bunnies alone, in seconds.
at least the first time around.

Managerial tips should be your first priority
Employees gain experience by doing work, which can save you a lot of points. The type of experience is based on the type of work you do. It's the same order as your stats.
Retrying sets you back to the beginning of the day, as if though nothing has happened. Using the
Using the Memory Repository in the menu will set you back to the beggining of the week, but will allow you to keep all the research/equipment you got up to that point.
The same is the case with pressing new game, which does the same thing but sets you back to day 1. If someone dies, however, that equipment is lost till you develop it again.

When should you attempt to complete the Dusk ordeal quest?

Those two enemies split into more enemies. Then those enemies split into the little clowns that let out other abnormalities. It's not as easy as just killing the two big boys.

You shouldn't have any trouble with dusks if you have ALEPH gear though.

It is pretty simple, the bigger the threat the faster they learn / promote. Meaning that sending a employee to do work on a ZAYIN 10 times is about the same as sending a employee doing work once on WAW

Stats go up when the employee does work of that type.

My main issue with Amber was their burrowing, also my ALEPH gear guys are concentrated on the middle level. I think I only have 1 V agent on the upper level departments while the rest are scrubs. Most of my better weapons are black which I'm pretty sure they're resistant too. Now that I now their pattern and that they don't do damage from behind I should be good.

So I should do as much work as possible every single day before ending it then

early on sure, later on when you have scary abnormalities all melting down at once and noon/dusk/midnight ordeals you'll be wanting to end the day as quickly as possible.

You can, it is a legit strat but dont forget that the longer you stay the worse the ordeals will get but you can always end the day if that happens

If you want to raise a stat, have the employee work on a creature (higher threat level = more EXP) using the skill you want to level.

Justice - Repression

You use elevators in between every department you know. Just group every single employee in one elevator and gangbang the slugs.

they're all pretty equal, justice is the best for central command chads though.
