Why is it so kino?
Why is it so kino?
It’s not, it’s literally the opposite of “kino”
SeKINO
>stapled-together stealth and combat mechanics
>reused bosses and areas, often arbitrarily
>terrible progression system even by action game standards
If it didn't have the FROM name it'd be getting 4/10s.
It literally is
Based and truthpilled
>truthpilled
You mean redpilled you dingle berry
>stapled-together stealth and combat mechanics
Can you elaborate? The stealth is certainly simplistic but it's just a way to give more options for traversing through areas.
>reused bosses and arenas
Sometimes it's a little lame but I think it's mostly justified.
>terrible progression system
What's wrong with it?
what was kino about it?
sure it has 10/10 combat but thats not kino. and dont try and tell me that isshin or the dragon were kino. only thing that was close to kino was prolly pic related
it's great but less replayability than other from games of the same "genre"
>everyone keeps saying how Isshin is dying
>he can still go cosplay Mr Karate and stuff
The core idea of clashing swords is pretty kino, especially since Sekiro's shorter than most other characters. The loyalty aspect is also kino.
You must be new here friend, people have been making up their own special variations of “based and redpilled for years now” just some examples of some I hear frequently “based and wokepilled, based and kekpilled, based and eggpilled (when referring to dr.eggman posts)” now either go back or stop posting until you are thoroughly familiar with 4channel memes you fucking subhuman
>more options
More like the only option in the early game. The combat still fucking sucks vs multiple enemies and it's actually worse in some ways due to a lack of weapons. In Souls or BB you could use scythes or ultra greatswords to destroy groups and now you can't.
>Mostly jusified
Ah yes, I love traversing Ashina Castle and the Reservior 3 times
>What's wrong with it?
There's no variety. Everyone always goes for better healing, mikiri, shinobi eyes, ichimonji, etc. All the interesting (and mostly useless LOL) stuff is locked behind using a million skill points.
Here's your Emma, bro
The Mikiri counter is my favorite move in any video game, period.
>being this new
you dont know what kino means
>The combat still fucking sucks vs multiple enemies
Only true if you're on a charmless meme run. You've got mikiri, firecrackers, cleave spear, the axe, combat arts, ninjutsu, and so much other shit to manage crowds. Literally git gud
>More like the only option in the early game
Not at all. Also combat being worse against multiple enemies isn't a bad thing when there's a stealth element. It means you have to put more consideration into how you're approaching an encounter.
>Ah yes, I love traversing Ashina Castle and the Reservior three times
The dynamics of Ashina Castle change. Same with the Reservoir. To claim it's the same thing over and over is missing the full picture.
>There's no variety
I'm not really sure what you were expecting from the game, different builds?
felt pretty meh for me. most enemies were unmemorable and the story sucks. i dont see much of a point in replaying it.
Felt more or less like a Souls game with better combat but significantly fewer gameplay options. I don't have a problem with quality over quantity, I did like Bloodborne much more than DaS2 and 3, but I'm a bit sick of this one and only type of game From appears to be able to make, and Sekiro is just more of that.
Lmao so many angry scrubs in this thread
Second-best game of the year behind RE2. The combat is great, and the bosses offer plenty of variety to keep you on your toes. Loved the fantastical environments toward the end of the game, and the dragon boss was kino. When I finally beat Sword Saint Isshin, I literally had one hit left. I figured I was going to die and I went ham on him, clashing blades and keeping the pressure up while awaiting my inevitable death. Instead, I got him. It was one of the greatest moments in my 28 years of gaming. I wish I would've taped it.
>second best game of the year behind RE 2
I stopped reading there, no need to read further to see that you’re retarded
Deal with it.
it has qt autistic monster girls.
>Takes picture of screen
are you retarded?
>10/10 combat but thats not kino.
Deal with having shit taste
I said I liked Sekiro - enough to place it 2nd overall. Our tastes are very similar.
Placing sekiro that high is even worse than placing RE2 that high
>qt
Post what they look like under the mask
kino means film you fucking tertiary
what games do you enjoy user
