Second lowest selling Nintendo Franchise

>Second lowest selling Nintendo Franchise
>Last great game was 20 years ago
>Every game after that range from mediocre to okay-ish
>The best game since Star Fox 64 wasn't even supposed to be a Star Fox game
>Each of the 3 reboot failed
>The Starlink crossover failed
>Literally only maintained alive, because Fox is Miyamoto's special boy.
>Star fox wouldn't even be as popular if its protag wasn't a furry.
>F-zero died for this

Give ONE single reason to not kill this shitshow of a video game series ?

The porn

Star Fox 64 was still a great game, which is one (1) more great game than the entire F-Zero franchise.

If they are willing to keep making DLC, then it didn't fail. The toys did fail and were dropped but if seems Ubisoft was ready for that.

It’s already dead. How do you kill something that was already killed to death?

There are none

Yes because X and GX were excellent instead of merely great. Plus they don't appeal to disgusting furfags.

>>The best game since Star Fox 64 wasn't even supposed to be a Star Fox game
Assault wasn't even supposed to be a Star Fox game?

The last great Star Fox was Zero.

Of course most of you Starfox fans didn't bother buying a Wii U to play it. Most of you guys were also too low IQ to master the controls even though it has an entire mode dedicated to training with the different vehicles.

>make xbone and ps4 version
>require dedicated hardware
>switch just uses the joycons and they fit nicely on the ubishit holder
>xbone and ps4 versions don't have Star Fox thus are an almost completely pointless game

They're iconic characters even after all of these years (partly due to Smash) and lots of the games are fun. Why make it about Star Fox vs F-Zero? I don't understand shit like this, it's like pitting DKC against Metroid. Why act like you are enemies, you are both in the same boat

>Zero
>When it’s as short as it is.
>When it is somehow has less than the 20 year old game.
>When it thought the gyrocopter was a good idea for a shmup.
>When it thought the chicken waller should be used for the final boss.

>The best game since Star Fox 64 wasn't even supposed to be a Star Fox game
I seriously hope you're not implying what I think you're implying.

Assault was subpar at best. Star fox adventure is the only Star Fox game that you can call decent.

Game was fun once I got the controls down however it felt like it was heavily lacking in content. They could have stood to add more stages and some of the off shoots were either retreads of previous stages or just boss battles in a different setting.

I have never played a Star Fox game but I occasionally fap to Krystal. Why is all her porn fucking Dinosaur people?

>Adventures
>better than Assault
yea, nah

All it needs is more all range dog fights.

He could be referring to Assault, which was originally a new IP, hence the TPS sections

>Starlink crossover failed
>the upcoming Starlink DLC includes an additional story for the Star Fox crew
Now I'm not saying Nintendo hasn't tossed money at hopeless causes before but I'm going to need some additional proof to convince me its a failure in the light of evidence seemingly suggesting otherwise.

If there's any series F Zero fags should be mad about still getting games it's fucking Star Fox, SF64 is an all time classic and everything since has been pure dogshit.

maybe a few more all range but one thing for sure is I felt it was lacking in On-Rails stages in comparison which is kind of the essence of Star Fox.

Almost correct. Give us online netplay then it’ll be that bit more redeemed.

Yeah, the dlc is switch exclusive, seems like they are gonna focus on that version...yet they are also releasing a PC version for some fucking reason.

The DLC is out.

My mistake the core question still remains though.

For what I can find, the toys did fail and were dropped but "the switch version generated enough fanbase to justify more DLC for some time".

The sales from Starlink as a whole were already below Ubisoft expectations, so Starlink as a whole is already a failure, Star fox or not.

Apart from the first game star fox is only known because of melee and Fox and Falcao being top tiers
Prove me wrong

cause melee fox is dope

the SNES game was a cool tech showcase and 64 was a decent game for the time but imagine if a new game, or just zero with normal controls, came out today and all the nostalgia fags realized they paid 90$ for a 2 hour long furry railshooter and they could have just written 'nostalgia' on a piece of paper and got as much out of it

No, they said they were "disappointing" but not a financial failure. I guess they mean it sold OK, enough to cover the game budget but with next to none profit. The toys, however, were really a failure.

Almost all the bonus unlockable stages are all range dog fights. Even the Peppy stage.

The game actually had almost not enough on-rails stages, very few of which had any branching paths, at least that didn't first require you to beat the game.

The only reason people like Krystal is because of porn, and the porn isn't even good.

>I guess they mean it sold OK, enough to cover the game budget but with next to none profit.
Which is pretty much a waste of time. The only reason as of why, Starlink is getting another DLC, is because it was already planned at launch.
Other games like Monster Hunter story did sold big numbers, yet failed to meet the expectations from their publishers, that doesn't make them much less of a fail attempt that will never get a sequel, while the company fuck off to make other games/IPs.

The game she starred in, Star Fox Adventures, takes place in a dinosaur world. It was supposed to be a new IP but made into a Star Fox game to sell more.

Fuck you for mentioning MHS and remind me how it will NEVER get the update in the west.

star fox adventures wasn't 20 years ago bro. get ur shit straight
