...
Goddamn, you had to pick one of my favorites, OP.
This right here always hits me right in the fucking feels:
youtube.com
>Amanda gave her life for Lester's sake
>You and lester beat the shit out of that evil duke
>Lester plays this while you make your way through the next area
It was kino.
youtube.com
But the entire Turtles in Time OST is banging.
I hated how they fucked it up in Adventures of Mana though
>the whole point is that Lester is playing for a good long time while you make your way through the area that had poison gas
>you could hear it in the entire town in the original
>Adventures just has him play a little bit once and that's it
I don't even remember if he was animated to keep playing after the scene or not, nor do I recall if the song was playing whenever you went back to his screen, but if they did, I honestly would have remembered it as one of the few things they did right with that mess.
How the fuck does FFA/SD1 get TWO shitty remakes?
Mario land 2 was weird but I love this
youtube.com
Super Shredder may have only had a few attacks, but he was the most aggressive motherfucker I had ever faced in a game when I first played this. (I hadn't played enough hard games then, but hell, I wasn't even 10 at that point.)

Descent 2 is still one of my favorite shooters
youtube.com
Man, FUCK Apollo.
>tfw it gets a second phase in the DS remake
Now with a twist.
youtube.com
>That fucking gattai sequence with the second LDS
>Turns into a full fledged giant mech
>Double fucking Starbuster
Because it's a shitty game.
I don't know which was more batshit, that or Borgin/Volaju being the true final boss of SaGa3's remake which was an absolute "what the fuck?" moment for me when I found out about it.
All the SaGa remakes add some really crazy out of the field stuff, even Minstrel Song lets you fight Sherah and makes the Jewel Beast an actual superboss compared to the original game.
PSP boys rise up!
Aw yeah, boys. Let me hit you with that Oedo beat.

This could also work as double nostalgia.

Oh God. Back when Sony tried to give a shit.
Also, back when they had an acceptable looking store front.
Shame this never really took off.
Mah nigga
This whole game's a nostalgic rollercoaster.

Do you think the PS5 will be good? I hope so. Sometimes I wonder why the PS2 was a masterpiece era, was it the management, the video game developers, everything? I just want Sony to rise up again and create another era of great games. But maybe the PS2 was just a fluke, with the right people at the right time in the video game industry, pure luck. Who knows.
Not the other user, but I too hope for the best. But I feel that the PS2 era was mainly due to hardware competition and the developers being more willing to take risks. Ironically, the PS4 only had one those things. PS3/360/Wii era just screwed many developers, with many finacial failures and a bunch of companies either closing or being bought.
FF Adventure was such a good fucking game; legitimately one of the best GB games.
The FF GB games were classics.

BULL'S EYE!!
I think the Sherah fight was included in the WSC first which is why it got carried over to MS.
