Why do people say that it's good sprite work? I went through the whole thing and he used mixels, different sizes, clashing colours and just around 1% of the stuff might have been able to be rendered on a nes.

Thanks, I try to avoid the creepy pasta BLACK AND BLOOD EYES stuff. Some of my favorite things in the godzilla creepy pasta was the Alice in wonderland feeling of descending further and further down into the games own world. The forest or what ever it was with all the animals and the Mothra maze seemed cool to me because it made the game feel wierd and surreal rather than creepy pasta-y.
