Using the japanese versions in the Castlevania collection would be a good start.

They sell all of their IPs to studios that will actually care to use them. They retire from videgames entirely and focus on Pachinko machines and Yugioh. So basically, same as before, only now good Metal Gear Solid, Silent Hill, and Castlevania games will get made.

No redemption for them, Capcom had several active franchises to work with and some of them were even healthy like MH.

Konami only has Castlevania which is the equivalent of Capcom's megaman but even less active, MGS is shit without that one faggot they fired and Yugioh's meta is fucked beyond repair and too hard for newcomers to understand.

The ONLY thing that could passably redeem them is a new good not LoS Castlevania or a harmony of despair port to PC.

Beyond Castlevania, MGS and Silent Hills and Contra I don't even remember what franchises Konami has a hold over.
They've had mixed to bad (to non existent) results with all those in the past few years so not sure how they could turn things around at all.

I doubt they've even fucked up enough to just fold and auction their IPs off to companies that could do them justice.

So seems like they'll just sit on them and/or continue screw up with them.

I want to say yes, but here's the difference with Konami and a recent return to form-er.
Capcom WANTS to change, the person that was spearheading the westernization initiative, Inafune is gone, all the projects he helped pushed, are out, and had middle reviews, sells, or massive controversy.
Konami DOES NOT. The people who keeps making the shitty decisions is still in charge, they're still getting money from pachinko or mobile, they, in their minds, have no reason TO CHANGE

All those franchises are more than enough for now. All those hold lots of potential for new games and spinoffs. Sadly, what nu-Konami lacks is vision, and the only visionary they had left the company to make his own.

I like a lot of Konami IPs, but I'm not desperate for more remakes and sequels. It doesn't really bother me that they're in hibernation for now.

No. They're no longer interested in the console market, and I wouldn't be surprised if they even stopped releasing PES sooner or later, to focus 100% on the pachinkos and mobile market. And I sincerely hope it happens. I don't want another mediocre Silent Hill like Downpour, Homecoming or Book of Memories, nor do I want an MGS made by some no-name Western company. Some things are better off dead.

Release a good MGS game that they try harder on. Survive was a fine game and even though it would have been panned regardless, they made it easy for people to shit on it. If they released a MGS game without Kijimbo going off the rails and doing lines of coke before saying "scrap everything we've done. I have a new idea. new direction!" and actually put work into it. Of course they could win fans back. Whatever they do regardless of if it's mgs or not, it will have people blindly hating it just because it's not kojeremy. But if they released something undeniably good, it would prove their side for releasing him and prove they were right about him wasting time and money on trying to be a dumb fucking movie director.
