I think I just don't enjoy hyper produced, scripted video game content on Youtube. Only watched it back in the day because there was no other options.

New episodes suck, but what are you gonna do? No formula stays fresh forever and 60-70 decent episodes may be the best record out of any e-celeb and he did it without the benefit of people paving the way for him and the modern analytics that tell you which flavor of the month to focus on for maximum retention.

I still watch his videos when they debut, but they're not very funny. The last one was pretty bad.
Can't really blame him, though. His pretty much covered anything worthwhile on the NES. AVGN is a thing of the past.
He's more focused on his movie reviews or whatever, and good for him. He's still running a pretty strong channel, and doing stuff he enjoys. He's just faded more and more into obscurity ever since his fucking terrible movie.
