I played 1 on release and liked it but never played anything else. Origins and Odyssey worth buying?

There really isn't a good one in the bunch. The world's are kind of interesting to walk around as historical replicas of old cities, but it introduced so many terrible design choices that I cannot see it as anything other than a series of collectathons to keep the console gamers in a kind of submissive malaise.

They're not AC games, they're ARPGs calling themselves Assassin's Creed. AC games died with Syndicate, Unity was the last AC game they actually tried on.

I don't bother with ranking them since the first and third are my favorite and those tend to be the ones hated the most
